Today’s adventure takes us to St. Augustine, Florida as Dave & Paul talk with Katie Root, Marketing Manager for St. Augustine Amphitheatre & Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Katie gives us insight into what it’s been like being one of the first outdoor amphitheatres to reopen, and using their venue upgrades (new lockable seats, infrared thermal temperature scans and more) to create a safe space for live music to return. They discuss the video and marketing campaign they put together to inform and educate guests on the protocols and importance of following them. She also talks about her history in the industry, how events in her life lead to shifts in her priorities, and how change shouldn’t be as intimidating as we build it up to be.
