BONUS EPISODE (w/Christmas Movies Actually): Just Friends

Morgan Gire and Erik Childress teamed up with the hosts of Christmas Movies Actually, Collin Souter and Kerry Finegan, to take a look at the 2005 “love you like a brother, not a lover” Ryan Reynolds/Amy Smart comedy. Needless to say there were reversals on some of the one-time enjoyment of this film as they examine the portrayal of this friendship even without the hopeful romance. Does Smart’s woefully underwritten character willfully torture her high school bestie? Can a decade of regret overwrite the behavior of the physically-reformed nerds? Aside from an inspired comic performance from Anna Faris, the other lasting positive of this film are the new avenues of conversation it brought up in these all-familiar friendship tropes between men and women.

    The Butterfly Effect (EP 111)

    The Butterfly Effect (EP 111)

Drew and Badway can't change the past (they have regrets). Luckily, Ashton Kutcher can! The guys try to learn his tricks during The Last Row Podcast breakdown of 2004's The Butterfly Effect. Besides time travel, the guys also tackle movie theater alphas, boyhood trauma fetishes, and making a wig out of your own hair for emergency future use.

The Baub Show: Carter Oosterhouse and Jeff Schroeder
11th, 12 years ago and how our world has been forever changed. We also discuss Daniel Pink's book Brave and explore the question, "what's your sentence?". Then we are joined in the studio by HGTV's Carter Oosterhouse. He is reluctant to be called America's Handyman, but let's be honest, he is the handyman every woman wants around the house and every guy wants to grab a beer with and after today's show, you will understand why! He talks about the serendipity that brought him to his wife, actress Amy Smart, his charity Carter's Kids and his brand new winery that will have you raising a glass. All of this with co-host Jeff Schroeder.
