Some called him a saint, and some, an astrologer. But Varahmihir was actually a genius mathematician whose discoveries hold significance even after thousands of years. From calculating the diameters of several planets like Mercury and Saturn, to saying that water was present on Mars, Varahmihir's predictions were based on detailed mathematical calculations.
