Andy Wheeler - Chairman Kankakee County Board

Andy discusses his history of growing up here in Kankakee, his previous work that brought him to his current position which is County Board member in District 15 and County Board Chairman. Andy also speaks about not just changing the County fiscally which has been very impressive but working to changing the way people treat each other and how to work towards rebuilding a more cooperative and respectful culture for all Kankakee County Residents.
Chairman Wheeler also discusses his goal as a person to work with Local Companies and Local Youth to provide them with the vision to see the opportunities beyond Kankakee County. His goal is to ensure that our young people have internships and opportunities with local companies and making sure the County and local municipalities provide the necessary tools to get accomplish those goals. All the while giving them not jut the dream of a college education but giving them the building blocks to accomplish that goal.
