In Episode 4 of Don't Work With Tossers - The Podcast, Tina chats to Anj Handa, Founder of Inspiring Women Changemakers, about Tossers that discriminate. 

Anj has been self-employed for nearly 13 years, prior to that she worked in the private sector, public sector and charity sector and she believes that Tossers are everywhere, in all aspects of your life, you can't avoid them. In this Episode Anj talks about the importance of values and also feeling valued, how when looking at opportunities to work with organisations they have considered the colour of her skin rather than her ability and experience and she talks about speaking out to educate people about discrimination but doing it in the right way, not shaming people, so you are not perceived as a Tosser.

As well as being Founder of Inspiring Women Changemakers Anj Handa is recognised as an authority on Good Governance and Inclusive Leadership having worked for the last 20 years at Board and leadership level with global organisations to create better opportunities for people in business and society, lobbying to change policy that hinders them. She covers little-explored themes such as psychological safety, emotional correctness, and healthy boundaries.

Anj was recently recognised in Forbes as one of the ‘10 Diversity & Inclusion Trailblazers You Need to Get Familiar With’. Named as one of Grant Thornton’s 100 Faces of a Vibrant Economy, described by i-news as ‘a bloody brilliant woman’ and winner of the AFSA Positive Action Award, Anj was also named in the UK Charity Times 2023 International Women’s Day list. Additionally, her global changemaking work has been featured in three books: Generation Share, Eradicating FGM in the UK and Refugee Tales. Despite (or because of this) she has encountered her fair share of tossers at work!
