Episode 4- "Awake"- Sleep Paralysis, Lucid Dreaming, & Interpretations

Episode 4- "Awake"- Sleep Paralysis, Lucid Dreaming, & Interpretations

If what we experience before us; what sounds we hear, what images we see, the scents we smell, the sensations on our skin, are all a reflective composure of what our subconscious mind perceives, how can we be so sure of our reality? How can we differentiate our true perception, and what really exists? What for that matter, are our dreams? On this week's episode, Yachay visits one of human biology's oldest common denominators; the dreamworld. With an in-depth discussion and recollection of a personal interpretation, Yachay shares his notes on sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, and the idea of interpretations as such.

Guiding Leaders to Uplift Organizational Cultures with Cristina Amigoni & Alex Cullimore

Guiding Leaders to Uplift Organizational Cultures with Cristina Amigoni & Alex Cullimore

Siamo was founded in the traditional way - two people meeting at happy hour to scribble workplace improvement ideas on a napkin. Founders Cristina Amigoni and Alex Cullimore connected over a mutual desire to make work more human and treat humans like humans.

Both from a traditional consulting background, Cristina and Alex discovered a passion for coaching through professional coach training and realized the potential of blending coaching and consulting approaches. Combining the improvement mindset of consulting with a love for uncovering the authentic potential of people and organizations, Siamo emerged to guide leaders to uplift their organizational cultures and infuse human-centric practices into the workplace.

Be a Confident, Credible Speaker with Meridith Grundei

Meridith Grundei is a public speaking coach and change maker. As an award-winning theatre director, producer, and former Second City improv teacher, she recognized the similarities between performing for audiences on stage every night and presenting to clients/colleagues every day, but the latter didn’t have the right tools to bring their stories to life. So she decided to do something about it. She specializes in presentation and public speaking consultation, individual training and development, and creative team solutions using improvisational theatre techniques to build trust, empathy, and out-of-the-box thinking. 11 Years and some change later, Grundei Coaching has helped thousands of individuals and corporations craft engaging presentations and authentic stories to achieve career growth and success.

    Work on Your Acceptance

Audio Blog by Gabe Ratliff. Last week I continued sharing insights from “Stutz”, the recent documentary by Jonah Hill on Netflix. I started with Part X, the villain in our story. Then I broke down some of the tools that Phil Stutz, Hill’s therapist, uses to help Jonah and others on their journey in life, like The Snapshot, The Maze, and The Shadow. This week I’m going to share the final set of tools Stutz provides that focus predominantly on acceptance as well as some visual exercises you can use to break out of overwhelm, get into a flow, and even process loss.

    Why You're Miserable (part 2)

Audio Blog by Gabe Ratliff: A few weeks ago I shared what I’ve been learning about Positive Intelligence, our Master Judge, and his nine Saboteur buddies. I shared a link to an assessment so you can learn more about your saboteurs and which ones show up the most in your life. Since then, I’ve been learning about the five different Sage Powers that we have inside us, which are Empathize, Explore, Innovate, Navigate, and Activate (this is your Jedi Mind Training, laser-focused and confident).

    Nurture Your Relationships

    Nurture Your Relationships

Audio Blog by Gabe Ratliff. How do you handle prospects and leads? Do you send countless cold emails in the DMs with a tailored-yet-generic template that rarely gets a response? Do you do anything but make cold calls to complete strangers to ask them if they could use your services? Do you put off calling clients about more work because you hate selling your services, and would rather be making, creating, or designing instead?  What if I told you there is a different way? A way that nurtured you and your authentic self as well as your current and potential clients.

It’s time to learn the SEVENTH DECISION FOR SUCCESS, the final decision from Andrew’s book. Then I share some insights I've gleaned over the last six years as an entrepreneur and how it applies to persistence.
