    In deze derde aflevering van de Crotcast horen we ploegleider Lars Michaelsen en renner Laurens De Vreese van Astana. Vlak voor de Amstel Gold Race der Amstel Gold Races (bedankt Mathieu van der Poel) ging Maarten bij ze op bezoek.
    In eerdere afleveringen hadden we het al over de rol van de ploegleider en over teamdynamiek. En daar waren Steven en Maarten nog niet over uitgefilosofeerd. Maar nu willen ze ook eens van een renner horen. Er blijkt wel even iets veranderd te zijn sinds Ducrot zelf op de fiets zat. Als Lars bij Laurens langskomt betekent het bijvoorbeeld niet per se dat hij salarisverlaging krijgt.
    Daarnaast bellen we Astana persvoorlichter Sven Jonker. Hij beschrijft op mooie wijze hoe overleden Astana renner Scarponi nog altijd een rol speelt binnen de ploeg.
