The Beef Handshakes program is a specialised networking and targeted business liaison program.  Jayne Cuddihy speaks to Brendan Golding - Chair of the International Committee for BA2018 Handshakes participants.

The Graeme Acton Beef Connections program is about developing the skills of young beef producers.  For Beef Australia 2018, seven mentor partners were chosen from across the country, dedicated to better servicing the beef industry through projects in animal welfare and health, education and training and technology.  Jayne Cuddihy spoke to Barbara Bishop - facilitator of the program, Elisha Parker - Chair of the Next Generation Committee, Ella Paine - Mentor Partner, Annabelle Butler - Mentor partner, Jim Teasdale - Mentor Partner, Ken Rich - Mentor and Tom Acton - Grazier.

The Australian beef industry needs to celebrate and showcase their people, and not just cattle, using intelligent commentary and clever imagery.  That's the advice from popular Sky News Australia presenter Paul Murray.  He broadcasted an episode of his program, Paul Murray LIVE from BA2018, as well as facilitating the Newscorp Great Debate.

A large part of the program at Beef Australia is dedicated to a paddock to plate experience.  Food vans, pop up restaurants and the Celebrity Chef program are dedicated to not just treating people to a beefy taste sensation, but educating people on cooking techniques and cuts of meat.  Jayne Cuddihy spoke to Shane Bailey - Celebrity Chef Coordinator, Jess Pryles - Cook, Author and 'Hardcore Carnivore' and Dominique Rizzo Chef Putia Pure Food Kitchen.
