TV Personality - Australian Survivor - George Mladenov

TV Personality - Australian Survivor - George Mladenov

Just like a great reality TV twist, this episode is a little bit different. I chat with TV personality George Mladenov or as he’s more commonly known by Survivor fans, King George.

I find out how George went from a bold and sometimes brash political operative to a two-time Australian Survivor player who cemented themselves as one of the most strategic players the game has ever seen.

If you enjoyed this chat, you might like to listen to a recent episode recorded with David Forster. Dave is an executive producer for Australian Survivor with a surprising start to his career in reality TV.

Australian Survivor - Titans Vs Rebels Week 4 (w/ Dan Morrison)

Australian Survivor - Titans Vs Rebels Week 4 (w/ Dan Morrison)

It's the fourth week of Australian Survivor Titans Vs Rebels! Joining Sam this week is Gasbagging’s cheeky meme queen and podcaster Dan Morrison.

Dan is responsible for the hilarious content from Gasbagging, and one of my fave people to talk shit about Reality TV with.

Sam and Dan chit-chat about episodes 10-12 titled "Bad Hair Day, "It's Not Sarong, It's So Right" and "To Infinity and Beyond".

This week on Survivor we see TWIST after TWIST. Give us a break  to catch our breath JLP! Meanwhile, Aileen slays the challenges to become the new mother of the season and Hurricane Kelli continues to cause havoc with her love interest Alex. Oh and Jaden is having a great time.

Dan’s cringe this week is Madame Web and the pair also discuss The Traitors US Season 2.

Australian Survivor - Titans Vs Rebels Week 3 (w/ Rachel Echols)

Australian Survivor - Titans Vs Rebels Week 3 (w/ Rachel Echols)

Australian Survivor is in week 3 bay-bay! To talk about it with Sam this week is arts industry titan and sexy mumma Rachel Echols!

Rachel is known for her work on arts festivals such as Rising, and contributes to the twitter conversation with her spicy hot takes on Reality TV, so I couldn't not get her on to discuss Australian Survivor.

Sam and Rachel unpack episodes 7-9 titled "Get, or Get Got, "The Divorce" and "Excited for the Actions".

This week on Survivor we are swapping tribes, continuing the blindsides and in honour of Shonee, drinking some spicy margs. Is Kelli is psychic genius or silly sausage? We still don’t know.

Rachel’s cringe of the week is Travis Kelce and the two also discuss The Traitors UK Season 2.

Supervising Post Producer and Writer - Bri La Rance

Supervising Post Producer and Writer - Bri La Rance

In this episode, I’m joined by Supervising Post Producer and Writer, Bri La Rance. Bri’s drive and determination to learn new skills led her to explore a diverse range of film and TV roles before more recently forging a path in post production, but as I find out, it’s her passion for storytelling that underpins everything she does.

Over the course of Bri's impressive career, she has worked in the writers room on Australian drama shows including Neighbours and Bite Club. More recently, her work in post production has included shows such as Australian Survivor, The Traitors, Married at First Sight and Big Brother.

If you enjoyed this episode and want to hear more about the world of post production, you can listen to my chat with award-winning editor, Karen Crespo here.

Australian Survivor - Titans Vs Rebels Week 2 (w/ Ben Rigby)

Australian Survivor - Titans Vs Rebels Week 2 (w/ Ben Rigby)

It’s Week 2 of Australian Survivor and Sam is joined by photographer, actor, and swimmer Ben Rigby to unpack all the blindsides and blunders of the week.

Ben’s evocative short films tell raw queer stories and his technicolour photography is as powerful as the sun in his adopted home, California. He also appears in Alien: Covenant and Oscar winning film Ford v. Ferrari.

Sam and Ben trash talk episodes 4-6 titled, “B is for Blindside”, “Where Angels Fear to Tread” and “The Saboteur”.

This week on Survivor Hurricane Kelli continues to cause havoc at camp but will she successfully complete her secret sabotage mission? The answer isn't resounding.. maybe? Ten are giving zero fucks this week as Mark breaks his way into the idol treasure chest. Meanwhile Aileen is ready to make big moves and Jaden is still happy to be there.

Ben’s cringe of the week is Taylor Swift, Tesla Trucks, Jay-Z at the Grammys and Holly Valance. The two also discuss US Survivor.

Australian Survivor - Titans Vs Rebels Week 1 (w/ Michelle Brasier)

Australian Survivor Titans Vs Rebels is here! To kick us off Sam is joined by actor, writer, funny person and Traitors fangirl - Michelle Brasier!

Sam and Michelle dissect the first three episodes of the season titled, “We've All Seen This Movie”, “The Invisible Hand” and “The Cuddle Club”.

Michelle’s cringe this week is sad boys and the pair also discuss The Traitors Australia, UK and US and FBoy Island Australia.

Australian Survivor Titan’s vs Rebels airs on Ten and Tenplay every Sunday to Tuesday and Sam will be recapping each week with a special guest.
