AVO Sandale - UPDATE

Avo X-Trail-Sandale und Ultim8 – Der Härtetest Wir konnten nicht anders – die Avo mussten noch einmal mit uns durch den Test. Wieso? Ganz einfach: die sind einfach zu genial, um sie nicht so richtig auf die Probe zu stellen. Und wir haben noch ein zweites Paar einer anderen Linie bekommen: AVO Ultim8. Alex und ich sind uns einig mit der Aussage „…der perfekte Allrounder…“ Egal ob Straße, Wald, Sand, Matsch oder Wasser – die halten einfach alles aus. Der Hersteller weißt zwar darauf hin, dass das Schnürrsystem unter dem Einfluß von Sand und (Salz-)Wasser Schaden nehmen könnte, aber das konnten wir bis jetzt noch nicht feststellen. Alex hat die AVO x-Trail an der Nordsee ausgiebig getestet und die AVO Ultim8 sind mit mir in den heimischen Wäldern bei Regen und Sonne unterwegs gewesen. Ich muss sogar feststellen, dass sie optisch so ansprechend sind, dass ich sie zum Kleid auf einem Sommerfest getragen habe – auch das halten sie aus ;-) Die Reinigung ist sehr simpel, denn fließend Wasser reicht aus, um sie vom Matsch zu befreien. Die Sohlenauflage überzeugt zusätzlich bei Nässe vor Verrutschen des Fußes UND die Füße riechen nicht! Endlich mal ein Material, was hält was es verspricht. Also liebe Hörer, überzeugt euch selbst. AVO X-Trail Sandale

Concept Gespräch Nr. 16 Avo X-Trail-Sandale Es wird sportlich – wir gehen Laufen in Trail-Sandalen. Aber nicht in irgendwelchen, denn seit der Shamma-Folge wissen wir ja, dass Alex es einfach mag. Also darf nicht lange eingestellt oder justiert werden, es muss sofort sitzen und leicht an- und auszuziehen sein. Genau diese Sandale haben wir gefunden: Avo X-Trail mit einem sehr innovativem Schnellspannsystem. Die Sandale besteht aus einer 7mm dünnen Vibram Sohle und hält den Fuß über einen Zehensteg und einem „Segel“ ordentlich fest. Dieses Segel ist verbunden über einen Nylon-Draht mit dem Zehensteg und Fersenriemen, der mit Hilfe eines Rädchens diesen Draht anzieht. Der Fuß wird also an die Sohle herangezogen und fixiert. Das ist aber nicht alles… dieses Stellrad kennt man ja noch von diversen Laufschuhen, was ebenfalls eine Nylonschnur gespannt hat. Dieses Rad hielt allerdings den Faden nicht fest, so dass beim Laufen der Schuh sich lockerte. Bei dem Avo X-Trail nicht, das Rad wird raffiniert hochgezogen und wieder rein gedrückt, damit eben das nicht passiert. Wir sind sehr begeistert von dem System. Zusätzlich hält er bei Nässe ebenfalls sehr gut am Fuß und wir finden, dass er optisch ein echter Allrounder ist. Wir sind uns auch einig, dass Preis-Leistung hier passt. Ep 014: DoNotPay Founder Joshua Browder On Replacing Lawyers with Bots

At just 17 years old, Joshua Browder made international news when he created DoNotPay, a chatbot that helped appeal parking tickets, reportedly saving motorists in the U.S. and UK millions of dollars. Now 21, he has just released a series of apps designed to help consumers solve common legal problems without the help of a lawyer -- including one to file small claims lawsuits in any U.S. jurisdiction.

In this episode of LawNext, host Bob Ambrogi catches up with Browder during the recent Clio Cloud Conference, where they discuss the genesis of DoNotPay, the latest round of apps, and Browder’s dream of enabling robots and technology to help people with most of their common legal problems.

“If you’re a normal person who’s not accused of murder, who doesn’t need to be in the Supreme Court, I don’t want you to even have to interact with a lawyer,” Browder says. “ … There’s no reason why, if your landlord keeps your security deposit, it should be so complicated to get justice. So everything that a consumer would want from the legal system, I want to provide for free.”
