EP27: The Story of Backup and Recovery in Microsoft 365

Paul Schnackenburg is back for another episode with Andy and this time, to discuss the story of backup and recovery inside of Microsoft 365. M365 backup has been a confusing experience over the years, especially with Microsoft's contradictory "no backup needed" guidance. To add to the confusion, Microsoft has introduced its own M365 backup product.

During the episode, we'll look at the various methods and tools that have been used natively within M365 to help with backup, as well as why these methods frequently fall short. Don't miss out on this informative discussion as we delve into the complexities of data protection and recovery in M365!

#19: The Wisdom Of Bipul Sinha

Hi Everybody welcome back to another FUTRtech video podcast, and as a side note, our podcasts are now available in audio podcast form on iTunes, Spotify and many of the other podcast outlets as well as at https://futr.buzzsprout.com.

I am really excited about today’s guest, as he has been a friend and advisor to Sandesh and I for a while now and I can’t tell you how much I genuinely value his guidance and wisdom.

Bipul Sinha is an entrepreneur, engineer and venture capitalist with more than 20 years of experience building billion-dollar companies - including his current company Rubrik where he is CEO. In addition, Bipul is the Board Chairman & Co-Founder of Confluera as well as a Venture Partner at Lightspeed.

Bipul always seems to be at the center of many important companies like Nutanix, Pernix Data and Hootsuite to name a few, but he is also a shrewd investor who clearly has that golden touch. More importantly, He seems to be connected to just about everyone. In fact he may just be Kevin Bacon in disguise (I have never seen the two of them together). Or to put it more succinctly for you graphing nerds, he has a high Eigenvector Centrality.

    Welcome Bipul
