Tijd voor wat Bayhem! Als er een astroïde ter grootte van Texas op de aarde afkomt, stuur je daar natuurlijk Bruce Willis op af, en rust je hem uit met iets wat zo hard mogelijk explodeert. Tenminste, als je Michael Bay heet. Geef hem een paar stoere kerels, een Amerikaanse vlag en wat speelgoed, en hij geeft je er een luide, gelikte en vooral vermakelijke film voor terug.

Onze vaste jinglemaker en fulltime genie Roy Grutters poseert de vraag: hoe erg is het dat het op zijn zachtst gezegd rammelt aan de feitelijke juistheid in Armageddon? En daarmee drukt hij precies de juiste knoppen in bij host Ruud, voor wie dit ooit de eerste slechte bioscoopervaring was. Maar als beide het ergens over eens kunnen worden, is het dat dit een film is waar je erg lekker over kunt praten.

Roy doceert geschiedenis aan het Valuascollege in Venlo, en was actief als muzikant bij onder andere de Limburgse dialectpunkband Bagger United en het meer folky The Holy Goats. Hij en Ruud organiseerden ooit samen met twee andere goede vrienden Towel Day Nijmegen, een evenement met comedy, muziek, wetenschap en literatuur.

Verder gaat het ook over de wonderbaarlijke soundtrack van Aerosmith, hoe NASA en de wetenschap lessen trekken uit deze popcornfilm en die ene andere ruimtevaartfilm met Billy-Bob Thornton én Bruce Willis.

On Episode 175 of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast, titled "Bayhem," the group first discusses the new international trailer for Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight that was released May 18, including plot points, characters, and other new information. Articles interviewing Ian Bryce, the producer for The Last Knight, as well as the movie writers, is also discussed at length. The conversations move to international promotions for the movie, including a Coca-Cola raffle in China, a Coca-Cola steelcase promo in Singapore, and 7-11 Japan's exclusive Dark Optimus Prime figure. International distribution and international collector habits are examined in the context of marketing. Following this movie discussion, the group moves on to a comics conversation involving Lost Light #5 and Optimus Prime #7. The crew of the Lost Light find themselves in a functionist alternate universe, and the group takes a close look both at Rung's newfound abilities, as well as at Megatron and the dueling consciences he has found in Terminus and his more recent shipmates. In the latter comic, Optimus Prime embarks on his own evolution as a leader, and the podcast crew gets into the 'humanity' of the Prime, as well as the growing rivalry between the eponymous Autobot leader and the torchbearer Pyra Magna. The podcast ends with a freestyle segment, wherein each cast member discusses a topic of their choice.
