Episode 64 features three great guests, two outstanding interviews and one spectacular musical ending. 

Ryan Cooper and Sean Ludwig are back by popular demand and make a triumphant return.  Ryan is founder of the BBQ Tourist website, https://bbqtourist.com, dedicated to  celebrating the best barbecue in America.  Sean is the founder of NYC BBQ,  http://www.nycbbq.com, a website and newsletter with news and information on all things barbecue in the NYC metro area.  Together they are the co-founders of The Smoke Sheet, https://www.bbqnewsletter.com, a weekly email that curates the latest national barbecue news, upcoming events, top recipes, and so much more.  Their knowledge is extensive and the love they have for barbecue is infectious.  We thoroughly enjoy every opportunity to have them on. 

Brad Balukjian took the road trip of a lifetime and makes a stop on our show to discuss the journey which he eloquently writes about in perfect detail in, The Wax Pack:  On the Open Road in Search of Baseball's Afterlife.  To say that he opens a single pack of 1986 Topps baseball cards and then goes on an 11,341 mile road trip through 30 states in 48 days to interview 15 players does not do justice or even scratch the surface of this wonderful book.  Brad's adventures are fascinating, what he learned is meaningful, and when the trip ended, getting the book published proved to be another daunting adventure.

Not one but TWO interviews about Baseball and BBQ!  First off, Ryan Cooper of BBQ Tourist & The Smoke Sheet joins the guys for an interview on his experience being, well, a BBQ Tourist.  Then Len goes solo, talking to sports journalist Lyndal Scranton whose beat included the St. Louis Cardinals during their 1980's heyday.  Lyndal and his BBQ partner have a podcast called the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show (disclaimer, the Lyndal Scranton interview was recorded on October 7th, prior to both Game 5's of the NLDS)
