Should we have our own individual cloud for our own privacy sake, or should we just stick with the regular clouds we are all on? We discuss who is listening to us in foreign countries and it's awesome how much we are evolving. Our question is "Are being ignorant of who is listening to us on your beardcare and skincare goals?"
Santino and I talk about how some big iconic Northern California staples are shutting down and we then steer into how Walmart is doing the most selling knockoff and fake brands! The burnout within the bearded community has major highs then extreme lows when there's something new on the market because we have to talk about the harsh reality as to why. Something that may be contributing to the saturated market along with everyone's burnout probably is the packaging that seems to have the same exact stylizing just with a different name slapped on.
We are back with another special edition episode where we revisit "Cannibalism" within the influencer world in all spectrums of niches. The response to the first episode was amazing! Watching the same drama from then unfold now will reveal it's true form of intention soon we guarantee it.
The week leading up to the big holiday was really all over the place because Rodney's mother totalled his dad's car! This incident happened a few days before which of course doesn't help make anything go smoothly. Santino and Rodney also go over beardcare fillers that people may be allergic to because a product was making one of your hosts flush every time they used the grooming products. We even talk about pairing beardcare with cologne and you guys will be shocked to hear what is read about one of them.
This is our special Christmas episode where we share our thoughts on holiday-themed products and what skincare brands have slight elements of the holiday spirit without being categorized like that. Santino and I also talk about how working currently works in your favor in terms of unemployment when everyone is going into a shut down yet again. There is so many things that touch upon it's hard to recall what we spoke of last since we are always offbeat!
*Note this was recorded back in September* This is part 2 of 2 and we now get into the subject of "The bearded community" being almost saturated with new businesses which is good and bad. Santino and I even talk about things we have been seeing pop such as "whole beard oil starter kits" which is a thing! To us, that is very suspect at the end of the day; because no one wants prefabricated products with a different label slapped onto it which is the same exact formula in a different bottle.

We briefly talk about how the people who have helped us create our brand and of course we touch upon the bearded community in which the conversation does get random. We reel it in to get back on track as usual and something we thought was appropriate to talk about was adoption which is now totally new for one of your hosts Santino.
It's crazy how rent and mortgages keep fluctuating all the time and it doesn't seem people can catch a break unless your one of the lucky ones who has a stable job. I myself talk about the progression of the art I have received before we officially launched everything, and we talk about the 737 Max Jet out of all things in terms of digital work.
In this entire 2 part episode we talk about so much that ranges from beard-care, skincare all the way down to influencers doing Onlyfans! We are weren't expecting to take the conversation to the next level, but this is something that pandemic has brought a lot of creators at this point in the game.
Amy Black of Pink Ink Fund is one of the most captivating people I have ever met. Her skills as an artist are unmatched and her heart is beyond full of goodness and kindness. She maybe one of the most friendly and approachable people I have ever met and makes you instantly feel like someone important to her. The Pink Ink Fund has helped many woman find normalcy in a tragic life situation and my interview with Amy is to celebrate what she has done for these woman and how she has changed their lives.
In our interview we discussed her beginnings in art and tattooing and how she ended up doing nipple tattooing and how she started the Pink Ink Fund. We talked about how she became involved with the RVA Beard League and how they have helped her tremendously with their gracious donations. The interview took place at The Canal Club in downtown Richmond Virginia and was during the registration for the 2018 Remington Beard Boss Great American Beard and Mustache Championships. Along with the National Humane Society, The Pink Ink Fund were to be the recipients for the money that this event generated and Amy felt so thankful to be apart of this event. Listen along as her and I, and her little French, Poppy Goblin, learn about the charity angle of a beard competition from the side of someone who received the money and how they have used it to make a difference.
