Explore "beastie" with insightful episodes like "Thor, Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Vadhir Derbez, Rob Schneider, Mario Sepúlveda, Beastie Boys", "Beastie Boys "Ill Communication" (1994) ou comment trois blancs-becs ont saboté le rap game", "The Battle Royale Continues", "Episode #42: I Don’t Want Your Life!" and "S4E10 - M.I.N.D. (Hip-Hop/Punk Band)" from podcasts like ""Del Tingo al Tango con Edgar Estrada", "Radio K7, la bande-son des 90s", "Heroes of Noise", "Best Frenemies" and "This Broken Mixtape"" and more!

Greetings, Citizens! Welcome to Episode 124. We're calling this one "The Battle Royale Continues". It seems some of you are really enjoying this game. We didn't create it, but we have a lot of fun working it out on air.
The first part of the show is the normal loose conversation that you've come to expect. But when we get down to business, we have three solid round of throwing beasts into a cage and letting them fight it out.
Technically we decide who has to go and who is the ultimate winner. This week we're doing it with musical acts. Here's the bill:
ROUND 1:
Mötley Crüe / Bon Jovi / Guns N Roses / Def Leppard
ROUND 2:
Wu-Tang Clan / A Tribe Called Quest / De La Soul / Beastie Boys
ROUND 3:
Michael Jackson / Freddie Mercury / Phil Collins / George Michael
Who do you think will come out on top? Don't be shy and let us know hit us up at heroesofnoisepodcast.com or leave us a voicemail on the website (info below)
Anyway, that's the show this week, folks. We'll be in your ears again real soon. Have a great weekend.

Yup 73rd time kids! A month into 2019 we give you our picks for best of 2018! Better late than never, right? Anyways, Mike Fullam, our Nintendo addicted buddy and brand new Twitch streamer joins The Jo(h)ns and Lou Skywalker to talk about the cream of the Pop Culture crop from last year. The Road To 80 is in full steam! Listen In Oh, and yes, this episode is named after a famous horse, so there's that.
Opening up with the odd transformation of the Beastie Boys' values. The left gets their money shot with the migrant mother and children photo. Kids being anywhere near tear gas is awful, but somehow it's no issue to bring your kids on a grueling journey? We talk to Anna Paulina about the migrants, and the herpes comment she made about Hillary on Fox News. Ryan looks like the man who was killed the sentinelese tribe, and talk about his school punishments. We end commenting on a water fight.
Greetings, true believers! Welcome to Episode 43. Hope you liked the Stan Lee tribute we did in the intro. We were going to talk about his death a lot more but ran out of time. So unfortunately you just get the intro and a few words at the end. Sometimes it's not good to bury the lede. RIP, Stan. You'll be missed by many.
Before we give you the breakdown, we'd like to apologize for the sound quality on this episode. We had to record in a different fashion than we normally do and as a result, you will hear a lot of background noise and things that we'd normally be able to mute out. With Steve being sick on this one, you'll hear a lot of hacking. We normally use 2 vocal tracks and can edit that stuff out. This time it's all on one track and there wasn't much we could do to fix it. We did what we could though. Give us a pass on this one, will ya? We'll be back to normal next week.
On this episode along with all our other ramblings and tangents, we discuss Steve's viewings of the Amazon Prime series "Homecoming", "Bodyguard" on Netflix, and "Superstore" on NBC and Hulu.
Dan talks about the docuseries "The Eighties" on Netflix as well as "Beastie Boys Book" by Adam "Ad Rock" Horowitz and Michael "Mike D" Diamond. He also got to see an early screening of "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" and gives a spoiler free review. Lastly Steve and Dan review "Overlord" now in theaters.
That's the gist, folks. Time to put us in your earholes. Let's meet here same time next week.
