Days Night vs the Christmas release Beatles For Sale.
I go through both albums track by track.

We kick into episode with a review of both Tommy's vacation and the rumors of the new Beatles Town coming to Disney World, and then we dive right into a reintroduction of our dear pod pals Ranking the Beatles and discussion of Jonathan's Mick Jagger face, our very best Beatles XM host impressions, Paul and Ringo in the Rolling Stones, why Sam Whiles is the best guest RTB has ever had, evergreen mystery words, new mystery words, the Beatles not doing waltzes even though the Beatles do waltzes, janky guitars, and the beautifully harmonized John and Paul collaboration, "Baby's in Black."

Oh, we also had several visits from the Ghost of Dr. John.

Por otro lado, Nadia Calviño vuelve a criticar las "falsas y milagrosas" soluciones del Partido Popular y sus propuestas de bajar impuestos para hacer frente al impacto de la guerra en Ucrania. Por su parte, Carolina Darias vuelve a condenar la guerra en Ucrania y pone en valor el Sistema Nacional de Salud en la acogida de refugiados. Por otro lado, el ministerio de Sanidad y las comunidades autónomas se reúnen por primera vez de manera presencial en la nueva etapa de la pandemia, un encuentro que analizará el impacto del fin de los aislamientos. España informa también hoy de su posición respecto al Sáhara. Además, la campaña de la renta y el impuesto de patrimonio del ejercicio 2021 comienza este miércoles. Terminamos con los Beatles ya que hoy se cumplen 57 años del lanzamiento del EP Beatles For Sale.

I've always been a big Beatles fan so I thought its about time I put
out a Beatles episode.
What set The Beatles apart from most other bands is having three
great songwriters in John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison.
But in the early years they also recorded over twenty cover versions.
It is these covers, written by legends like Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins and
Buddy Holly I will be discussing and ranking.

Episode 31 breaks down the story of the originally intended title of "Beatles for Sale," the BFSAND,  another A-PAUL-OGY, when the Beatles set their guitars on fire, bands we like that no one else does, the first "The Word" segment in a long while, people being desperate for something in life with no further explanation, some mail including misunderstandings with Pete G. that we clear up, revisiting the Lick Five, the earliest songs from John and Paul, Tommy saying the word "but" a million times, a weak sauce solo, Becker's first day at the Beatles factory, if it's a good idea to have the third verse same as the first, and the teenage-inspired Paul song "I'll Follow the Sun.

In episode 20 we begin with overwhelming gratitude to the Blotto Family and Blotto Scruffs  for all you did to make our live virtual trivia fundraiser for ALS One such a success.  At the time of this airing, we sit at just below $5,000 raised, which is a sum of money we never dreamed possible.  If you would like to contribute, we will be accepting donations through our website and shop through the end of March, 2021. 

From there we get into our usual nonsense by discussing the greatness and dynasty at the heart of Team Blotto, Becker's potential for a signature shoe, Tommy's favorite Star Trek episode, an invitation to Sam from Dogfish Head followed by an immediate insult, the Beatles other hair period, what Tommy's mom thought of GnR, the amazing cover to Beatles for Sale, Scott's role in the Newsies musical,  and the trebly tune, "What You're Doing."
