Relationships Are Hard Part 2: Valentines Day Realness

Relationships Are Hard Part 2: Valentines Day Realness

Paige and Jack sit down to talk about Valentine’s Day and their feelings surrounding the holiday of love.

    •  Valentine’s Day: how the commercialized holiday has strayed away from love
    •  Valentine’s Day v. Love day, showing someone you love them versus showing up the people around you
    •  How can you implement and use love languages in your daily lives and relationships.
    •  The seasons of life we go through and how to adjust and endure these encounters together

    It’s Hard Resources:

What Happens When "That" Feeling Goes?

What Happens When "That" Feeling Goes?

Falling out of love is a heartbreaking feeling. The expansiveness. warmth, and joy of being with your beloved is just gone.  It may have happened suddenly or overtime, but there is no doubt that 'the loving feeling" is gone.  This week Kevin and Niseema explore some of the reasons why what used be a "tuning in" to our partner, suddenly turns into a "tuning out."  Expectations, lack of relationship skills, stress, personal history, our own body, etc., can turn that loving feeling into irritability and loneliness.  If love is the antidote to loneliness, then what may be the antidote to the "loss" of love?

The Successful Women Takes Care Of Self Part 3 Final Self Love Leading To Falling In Love Coaching With Debra Smith -Torrence

Listen In: Self Love is becoming mindful and intentionally practicing for one's own well-being and happiness in a constructive way rather than narcissistic negative behaviors).

Self-love defined as "love of self" or "regard for one's own happiness or advantage" has both been conceptualized as a basic human necessity to truly achieve happiness and balance in your life

On the other hand, if we as human beings enter the realm of being a narcissist with a tendency for narcissistic behaviors then we move to the dangerous character and moral flaw within yourself which can be looked at as vanity in yourself or selfishness.

It is a fine line between not enough and too much.  So, check your behaviors at the door.  Recognize what you need inside of yourself to become whole without demoralizing others with negative behaviors such as the French would say amour propre, announce - (amoure prop), conceitedness, and egotistic behaviors leading to narcissistic behaviors.

So, from here let us dig into the positive side of Self Love

Let us talk about the mindset of positive Deliberate Mindfulness of self-love
