Instrumentals are the foundation of creating an emotionally powerful song. Different instruments combining certain chords, tempos and melodies can transport the listener to different locations, with each person experiencing the same song differently.

That's why we are so excited to have Professional Studio Musician, Mark Baldwin, on today's episode. Mark shares his story of becoming a guitarist, discovering his passion for music and playing several songs for Music for the Soul.

He also explains why he believes intrumental music can be so transformational in peoples' lives and the importance it can have in giving people an outlet to express their emotions. Finally Mark shares tips from his 30+ years of experience on how aspiring artists can get their start in becoming a studio musician.
