    Episode Summary:

In this special episode of the Strive for 25 podcast, Joel interviews Deven Wohlwend, the 16-year-old COO of Clear Sky Realty Inc., Amazon's best-selling author, and owner of over 40 units. Deven shares his remarkable journey, starting from attending investment meetings since birth to becoming the youngest person to attain the Ohio Professional Housing Provider Certification at the age of 10.

Deven's story serves as an inspiring example of youthful entrepreneurship and the impact of determination, creativity, and continuous learning in achieving success in real estate and beyond.

Tune in to hear how Deven started his role as a COO and his insights on being an inspiration to others by setting an example. Deven emphasizes the importance of starting early, being creative, taking action, and focusing on the future rather than getting stuck in the present.

    About Deven Wohlwend:

From the time he was born, Deven has been going to investment meetings. He developed an interest in investing at a very early age. He found a way to invest in what he knew when he was only 5 years old. By the time he was 7, he started a company and started purchasing real estate. He purchased his first house using only his knowledge, creativity, and a little bit of money that he had earned at his part-time job. By the time he was 10 years old, he attained his Ohio Professional Housing Provider Certification (O.P.H.P.). This made him the youngest person ever to attain this certification. He started investing in single-family homes. Then, he rapidly moved on to a small, multi-family (duplex.) Within 3 years, he had bought 20% of a 60-unit complex. He is constantly growing his real estate team and acquiring more assets. At 11 years old, he published his first book about his successes and setbacks: If I Can Do It, So Can You! How I Started Buying Real Estate at Age 7! By age 12 he started taking classes at Kent State University. Recently he published his second book, The Garage with Mark Victor Hansen. He became the #1 best-selling author on Amazon in Children’s Money Books on the 2nd day it was available. He has since been interviewed on Larry Goins Podcast and spoken, in person, to various real estate investment, business & homeschooling groups across half a dozen states. He has been on expert panels from Florida to Ohio, including at the National Real Estate Summit. He continues to buy more properties and currently controls over 40 units. #191 – What Does It Take to Build A $50 Million Dollar Business In Eight Years From the Ground Up?

This week I’m very happy to welcome entrepreneur and best-selling author Jamie Prickett to The Alden Report. Jamie is a former freestyle wrestler turned financial advisor who spent ten years struggling to put gas in his car. But the problem wasn’t just Jamie, it had a lot to do with the organization he worked with from the age of twenty-one to thirty-one.

Two years after leaving that company, and now, over the past eight years, Jamie and his wife Lee-Ann “turned over the tables” of the entire insurance and financial services industry. In 2014, they founded Experior Financial Group which now consists of a 1500+ team of well trained and provincially licensed associates available across Canada and the USA specializing in a number of insurance needs. Headquartered in Ontario, Canada and Cheektowaga, New York USA, Experior Financial Group Executives cumulatively boast hundreds of years in the financial industry.

Thank you very much to Jamie Prickett for joining us this week on The Alden Report.

Episode 73 - Author, Life Coach, & Speaker - Travis Sackett

Episode 73 - Author, Life Coach, & Speaker - Travis Sackett

Having overcome an abusive childhood, Travis went on to college to study criminal justice, hoping to become an agent for change. While fulfilling this role, he became jaded by corruption he started noticing within the system. During this time, Travis sustained an injury while training, resulting in an opioid addiction, which in turn, led him to a life of crime.

Through the help of his canine companion, he pulled himself up and out of the mud, and began living his life again.

As a fully disabled individual, Travis refuses to be held back by his circumstances. His memoir, 'My Life with Karma', is written with the intention of increasing sympathy toward often-ignored populations that are either forgotten or left without a voice.

His story is both fascinating and compelling, and will stay with you long after listening.  Thank you Travis for coming on, 'A Juicy Pear Podcast'.
