    James Parton Is Inspiring Collective Action To Protect Global Ecosystems

    Nineteen-year-old James Parton is a photographer and filmmaker and is creating a movie about ecology and the connectedness of global ecosystems. The project focuses on less known issues and brings them into the spotlight to help provide solutions for all of us. James plans to show what we can do to help combat these situations. His stories are uplifting and inspiring as he creates a collective community to help make a positive change. 
     
    Also on Speaking of Travel, Garrett Martin, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, outdoor photographer, conservationist and owner of the production company - VentureLife Films, shares his newest venture, THE GREAT FOREST, which follows conservationists throughout southern Appalachia as they look to manage two of the most biodiverse and visited national forests in the country. 

    And, a conversation with with Tina Kinsey at the Asheville Regional Airport. With so many state and national parks in this country, you might find yourself flying somewhere to be outside someplace else. And that could mean hanging out in the airport for a bit. Tina shares some ideas from what she sees and hears from passengers who are making that wait fun.

    There are two things my good friend Howard Haber and I have in common.  Understanding the role good financial planning plays in our lives, and the love of animals and the healing power they possess. 

    In addition to being a successful financial planner, Howard is actively involved in the community. He lectures extensively to charitable and civic groups about charitable giving and the importance of financial planning.

    In his spare time he is an avid cyclist.  Additionally he is active in animal rescue serving a variety of functions including fostering cats and volunteering time, financial expertise, business support and prior Board service for Stray Cat Blues, Inc., Pedaling4Paws and a variety of other organizations including the Best Friends Animal Society.     A survivor of the Second World War, Dr. Yvonne Kaye uses her experiences in working with people in emotional pain, grief and loss, believing in the spiritual power of humor as a healing tool.

    Dr. Kaye has been in the field of human service for many years, encountering extraordinary people whose courage has amazed her. Her passion is offering enrichment in life, mentally and emotionally, to those who have no concept of their own creativity.

    This weekly podcast will include everything from laughter roaring to covering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)...anything goes.
