TorTR #202 - Meridian is Where the Monsters Live
On Episode 202 of Trick or Treat Radio we have not only one, but two legendary dream guests on the show! First up, while at Scare-A-Con, we had the pleasure of speaking with the king of drive-in movies, Joe Bob Briggs! We discuss how he got his start, lost films and what’s next for the icon! Our second interview is with the equally legendary Shawn Lewis! Most of you probably own at least one of Shawn’s T-Shirts from Rotten Cotton, but we catch up with him to hear all about his latest endeavor, Eibon Press and how they are helping to resurrect horror comics. We also manage to fit in a film review as we take a look at the body horror flick, Bite. We play your voicemail, recap our weekend at Scare-A-Con and announce another legendary guest for next week! So put on your bolo tie over your favorite Rotten Cotton shirt and strap on! Stuff we talk about: Gates of Hell, Lucio Fulci, Derek Rook, Zombie, Bottomfeeder, Joe Spinell, horror comics, Portuguese Man O’ War, go see a doctor, Scare-A-Con, James Lorinz, Patty Mullen, Frankenhooker, P.J. Soles, Tony Moran, Halloween, moderating panels, The Dorkening, TVCU, Big Scary Show, Scream Sisters, Radio of Horror, Black Devil Doll, Roar, Miami Connection, I Saw the Devil, The Wailing, The Fly, what makes a body horror film work, Gore Shriek, Rough House Publishing, Buckaroo Banzai, Doctor Strange, The Nice Guys, Drafthouse Films, marketing comics to non comic fans, Bruce Lee, and 70s buddy cop movies.Support the show

由蛇咬中得自由 The Bite of the Serpent (2 of 12)
In Numbers 21, the children of Israel became bitter in their heart and started complaining against Moses. Their sin released fiery serpents which bit the people and released poison into their system. Their was only one remedy for the bite of the serpent - fixing their eyes, with faith in their heart, on God's provision. The same power is available to you today -the power of the cross for curses.

Limited Appeal - What can be said about farts and bees?
Today we spend a predictably large fraction of time discussing farts and bees. How are they related? Well, they're mostly not, but they partly ARE (arguably). Exactly how? Well aren't you equipped with the questioning persistence of a three year old? Just listen to the podcast it's full of health and safety information on important (arguably) gastrointestinal physiology. Guaranteed to have some approximately scientific facts, at least some of the time. But no fart noises, because we're a classy (arguably) podcast. If you can clarify how yahoo answers terror-ists are ranked, email us (maskedman@limitedappeal.net). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.

Elk at Grand Canyon: Facts and Cautions.

Elk at Grand Canyon: Facts and Cautions.
Elk are frequently seen in and around Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. In this Ranger Minute, Park Ranger Haley Bercot shares some interesting facts about this majestic animal. What should one do if they sight an Elk? How close should one get? Can elk be dangerous? Many visitors see large wild animals that seem tame and therefore approach far closer than they should. For safety's sake stay at least 50 feet away from the elk! Never approach wild animals. Photograph all wildlife from the safety of your vehicle. Use telephoto lenses and observe quietly. It is dangerous, and illegal, to feed wild animals in a national park. Violators will be fined. Wildlife can become dependent upon handouts and lose their ability to hunt and forage. Such animals lose their fear of humans. They can become aggressive and bite, kick, or gore. Many are struck by cars while searching for handouts. Help us keep wildlife wild. Never feed or approach wildlife.
