To praise the LORD is to give thanks for what he has already done. We should praise and magnify His name, just because of all he has already done for us.

Divine Protocol in Prayer means we don't start with our needs or sins, but we look to 'our Father in Heaven', and come into His Presence by 'hallowing His Name' with PRAISE (declaring His Greatness), and with THANKSGIVING (for His Goodness and Grace to us). We become like the One we worship, for it is a surrender. Our highest calling is to worship God, in intimate spirit to Spirit communion. We love God by our (1) worship, and (2) works. Worship adds to us value (holiness), as God fills us with His life, activating our souls. Our true life flows out of our worship.

When we think about blessings and the Lord we often think about how the Lord blesses us. What does it mean for us to bless the Lord? In the first line of Psalm 34, David writes, "I will bless the Lord at all times..."

What does it mean to bless the Lord? And why is the Lord worthy of our lives being lived as an offering of blessing back to Him?
