Building Smart Contracts Faster: Talking Efficient Development w/ Aha Labs Co-founder Chad O

In Episode 3 Season 2 of Tech Talks with Tomer we speak with Aha Labs Co-Founder Chad Ostrowski. Aha Labs is a group of developers best known for RAEN, a product which allows ABI/contract info to be stored on-chain for the NEAR protocol. Chad is also a content creator and an active member of the Stellar community. In one recent video, he compared NEAR, Soroban, and CosmWasm’s approaches to wrapping a key-value store in Rust smart contracts.

Tech Talks with Tomer is a video and podcast series hosted by Tomer Weller, VP of Product at Stellar Development Foundation. In every episode, Tomer speaks with some of the smartest engineers in blockchain about the biggest innovations happening in the space.

Building Developer Tools in a Cross-Chain World: Insights from Cubist Co-Founders

Building Developer Tools in a Cross-Chain World: Insights from Cubist Co-Founders

Welcome to the second episode of season 2 of Tech Talks with Tomer, a video and podcast series hosted by Tomer Weller, VP of Product at Stellar Development Foundation. In every episode, Tomer speaks with some of the smartest engineers in blockchain about the biggest innovations happening in the space.

In this episode, Tomer chats with Fraser Brown and Riad S. Wahby, co-founders of Cubist. Cubist builds security-focused developer tools for multi-chain/cross-chain development in Web3, helping developers write contracts for multiple chains with the ease of just writing for one. Cubist received a grant through the Stellar Bridge Bounty Program in the fall of 2022. In this episode, Tomer, Fraser and Riad talk about why Cubist bridged with Stellar, how to build securely in a cross-chain environment, and developer tooling in blockchain.

Both Riad and Fraser are assistant professors at Carnegie Mellon University, in addition to running Cubist.

Coding with Smart Contracts - Alex McCurry of Solidity.io

If you want to code a smart contract on blockchain, odds are you will be working with Solidity, the primary software being used to conduct such activities. Today we have the opportunity to speak with Alex McCurry, the founder of Solidity.com, a blockchain solutions provider that has seized upon the brand name and built a business serving many large businesses and brands to help create the future.

What does the future of blockchain look to solve problems like ticketing, real estate and security? You’ll find out today our “solidity like a rock” episode #636 of The Bad Crypto Podcast.

    Full Show Notes at: http://badco.in/636

Joel and Travis talked about the benefits of their relocation to Puerto Rico in Episode #580

06:33 - How does someone decide I’m going to create a programming language everyone is going to end up using to make smart contracts?

08:30 - Domain name purchase trophy goes to Alex McCurry

10:00 - What brands and partners have come your way to say they want to build with you?
