We had author E.F. Dodd on the podcast and chatted about how second-chance romance makes it difficult to do a meet-cute. 

How the cast of characters and female friendships is important to the characters and to the creation of the romance and you rooting for the romance. 

Writing a contemporary second chance romance, where the main female character maintains her career and falls in love, doesn't require them to give it up, or move home to a small town for a 'simpler life.
