Why do I share? My life is a miracle, and I am forever grateful for my life, health, and peace. With that gratitude, I am motivated to share my testimony: look what the Lord did for me, and I did not deserve it – He can deliver you!

 We read from portions at pages 37-46, Chapter 5, “What Can You Do About Toxic People?” In that, we look at the toxic person’s havoc on ourselves and see what scriptures say about it. Did you realize you could and should get out of a habitually toxic relationship? It does not matter who that toxic person is! 

We address this topic further in “A New Song Rises Up!” and the Study Guide. Also, please find the video on YouTube titled “That Dance,” where we discuss this pervasive problem further.

 We read from portions at pages 51-53 and 133-134, where I share my personal experiences: 1. the death of a husband while I was a young wife and mother. I was devastated at this loss,
2. the sudden death of my son in May 2020. The Lord comforted me, and He will comfort you.

 My purpose in writing this book, which was released last fall, was to simply share bits and pieces of how the Lord has brought me through some horrible and painful times. My life is a miracle, and I am forever grateful for my life, health, and peace. 

With that gratitude, I am motivated to share my testimony: look what the Lord did for me, even though I did not deserve it – so He can also deliver you!

 We read from Chapter 12 – Did You Come To Jesus? (pages 117-120), my personal testimony of when I first came to Jesus. I was a young wife and mother, struggling in a failing marriage. The setting was in rural West Virginia, forty-six years ago.

 We read from Chapter 1 – Where the author is Sharing a Moment in Domestic Violence (pages 1-2), 
about a time in the author’s dark moments while deep in a life-threatening domestic violence situation. Within these few paragraphs we get a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes, and some reasons why a victim may stay with her abuser.
