Having looked at the original tv show, in this week's post I discuss the 2000s movie adaptations of 'Charlie's Angels'. How have they moved on from the 1970s? Note, I don't say so much about the second movie as I didn't enjoy that one as much. Sorry! It's all about Lucy Lui, my girl Drew, Cameron D and Destiny!
Forgive me for nicking the title from the early 2000s Charlie's Angels movie. Yes in my latest post, I'm focusing on the famous 1970s American tv show which focused on a trio of female private investigators, solving crimes. Although criticised in some quarters, there's still a lot to enjoy. I'm mainly talking about the first season of the programme which features Farrah Fawcett-Majors as the sparky blonde Jill Munroe, alongside Kate Jackson as Sabrina Jackson and Jaclyn Smith as Kelly Garrett. I've just realised that Bosley hardly gets a mention - whoops ;-)
It's a "mo' money, mo' horses" kind of day at Dadgum and Reekus - the boys fight off the evil clutches of hunger as we take a look at Elizabeth Banks's next project: Charlie's Angels. The debate on the humanity and likeability of Kristen Stewart continues in typical show fashion, the girls have to step in and push the show along. Also hear about some secondary thoughts surrounding Hobbs & Shaw and a tease for a video show that never happened!
