What's up and welcome back to the Something's Bruin Podcast! On today's episode Nick and Mike dive into the additions of Pat Maroon and Andrew Peeke along with other deadline additions and losses. The Bruins have not been playing well since the ASG. They are nosediving. They have not righted the ship, says Jones. They have been under .500 since the break. Mego says that she did not think the back to back wins said anything at all about this team. They have levelled out. Their coach is trying to grasp at different ways to approach his team and the situation. Now he is being defensive of his team. All in all, the Bruins need to wake up if they want to make a cup run.

SEGMENT - Jones, Mego and Arcand discuss how the Bruins can improve their roster and what they need to do this season after a significant dip in faceoff wins. Are they missing Bergeron?

Andrew Raycroft comments on what a return for Linus Ullmark would look like. He said the return would not be as great as fans would like it to be. However, there are a lot of teams who are looking for a goalie right now. Jones says he would trade him so that the Bruins have some cap space to work with in order to add more pieces at the deadline. Raycroft would rather move him in the offseason just in case Swayman were to go down with an injury during the season.

NESN and WEEI's Andrew Raycroft joins the Jones and Mego show to discuss what is going on with the Bruins recently. It seems as if they are not fully bought in or are checked out. He says they are back to blowing leads. It happens more in the NHL, especially if your special teams haven’t been good. He cannot remember a time in which the Bruins' PK has not been in the top ten. Mego then asks if they are getting complacent. Raycroft responds that there has to be something in these players minds now, April is when we really have to be ready, This is why you hear Monty saying this cannot continue. They have to start gearing up for the playoffs now.

SEGMENT - After the Bruins collect a pity point in Calgary, Arcand and Andy Hart discuss whether or not the Bruins can go further in the playoffs this year than last. 

Hour 1 - during the first hour of the Jones and Mego show with Arcand the crew discusses the Patriots' recent media conference and the Boston Bruins, with some draft dialogue sprinkled in. Are you confident in Jerod Mayo to lead the Patriots out of this hole? Arcand is not because the roster is not good yet, Jones is dubious, and Mego is semi-confident. Who should the Bruins trade for at the deadline? Find out during this hour!

Jones, Mego, and Arcand break down the Bruins recent winning streak. Is their d-core good enough to win anything this season? Jones, Mego, and Arcand do not think so! They have no draft capital, so Ullmark would have to be on the move, or Mego's favorite locker room personality, Jake DeBrusk. Is Boston College alum Noah Hanifin a possibility?

Tom Gazzola and Dustin Nielson preview the Edmonton Oilers match-up vs the Boston Bruins and the impact the team might have without Ryan Nugent-Hopkins who is questionable for the game due to an illness.

Mego wants a QB whos greatest strength is not being a dual threat QB, and Jones would be fine with a few mistakes. Also, does Brad Marchand deserve your respect?

Hour 2 - in the second hour of the Jones and Mego show with Arcand, they break down the Celtics and the Bruins recent stretch of games. Jones, Mego, and Arcand are weary of where these two Boston sports teams are headed in the playoffs. Will these two teams get it together come championship season?
