Rachael Rollins Part 2- Ms Rollins conducted a fraudulent scheme, that targeted a rival, personally leaking this lie to the press

U.S. Rachael Rollins strode into a political campaign, in order to pull her flawed candidate over the finish line. She constructed a despicable crusade against a potential District Attorney, that had derided her "Rollins 15" plan to not prosecute crimes like wanton and malicious destruction of property and being a drug dealer. The sitting US Attorney for Massachusetts, spun a lie out of whole cloth, she then, personally leaked this lie to the press, with the goal of eliminating her political rival. She also used her personal cell phone and encrypted messaging apps to further this conspiracy, another violation of law, from the esteemed US Attorney. This is Massachusetts political corruption in action. Don't miss this episode! Feel free to share!

Episode 37: Ayanna Pressley on Legislation and Restaurants

Today’s guest is Ayanna Pressley, policy-maker, activist, and the first ever woman of color to be elected to Boston City Council. Ayanna is currently seeking the Democratic nomination for the Massachusetts 7th Congressional District. In addition to her advocacy work for communities of color, during her eight year tenure as part of Boston’s City Council, she successfully pushed for the creation of 75 new liquor licenses, 80 percent dedicated to disenfranchised neighborhoods, resulting in the creation of dozens of new restaurants and hundreds of jobs. Ayanna was named one of The New York Times 14 Young Democrats to Watch and one of Boston Magazine’s 50 Most Powerful People. She lives in Dorchester, Mass. with her husband, stepdaughter and cat Sojourner Truth.

Basic Black: The Battle for the Redistricting of Boston
Originally broadcast on October 26, 2012:

The deadline is fast approaching on a federal mandate for the Boston City Council to pass a plan that reorganizes the city’s voting districts. But there seems to be no clear consensus among council members, nor among many in Boston’s communities of color, on how to do it. The mayor has already vetoed two maps. A coalition representing African American, Asian, and Latino voters has vowed to sue if they are unsatisfied with the council's solution. Emotions are running high, and only ten days remain.
