EP 154 Don't Stop at NO with Brandon T. Adams

EP 154 Don't Stop at NO with Brandon T. Adams
I hear the word NO daily but I don’t let it stop me. As an entrepreneur you are going to hear no a lot. Not everyone is going to want to buy your product or want to help you with what you are doing. They may not believe in you or your idea. That's all right, not everyone will. That just means they were not supposed to be apart of your journey. I believe everything happens for a reason. The greatest salesmen have heard no the most, that’s because they don’t stop at no, they keep going until they get a yes. It’s a numbers game. The more times you ask for something the more yes’s and no’s you will get. The people that throw the most darts eventually get a bullseye.

EP 152 Pushing Beyond Your Limits with Brandon T. Adams

EP 152 Pushing Beyond Your Limits with Brandon T. Adams
Are you pushing beyond what you think is possible every single day in every aspect of your life? As the Great Tony Robbins says, in order to be happy and fulfilled we must grow. We must get better in all aspects of our life. The more you push yourself the more success you will have and the more fulfilled you will feel. Sadly most people don’t reach their full potential. Every single day I work to get better and strive to push beyond my limits in my work, at the gym, mentally, and in my relationships. I do things that scare me, because if something scares me that means I’m going to get better and build up my tolerance to do greater things.

EP 150 Your Network is your Net Worth with Brandon T. Adams

EP 150 Your Network is your Net Worth with Brandon T. Adams
You are the average of the five people you hang out with and also I would say that your net worth should eventually become the average of those people. If you want to become a billionaire then hang out with billionaires. The question is how do you build up a network? I'm talking about a network that has many influential people in it that are just a phone call away from making something happen for you. If you establish a powerhouse network you will literally become a phone call away from anyone you want to get in touch with.

EP 149 Discover, Act, Engage with Megan Watt

EP 149 Discover, Act, Engage with Megan Watt
I’ve found out over the years that the number one thing people fail to do is take action towards their goals or dreams. They talk about it but don’t take any steps forward. They don't take that initial leap of progress towards the things that they want. Sometimes the first step is the hardest step to take in your journey. Once you DISCOVER what it is you want in life you need to ACT on it and ENGAGE consistently to ensure it becomes a reality. Megan Watt, a former speaker of Young Entrepreneur Convention recently launched her book Discover. Act. Engage. In this book she talks about how to reach your someday goals and also how to act on your connections to help reach them. Connections are very powerful and can help us go farther than we think. On average 80% of our current connections that we have can help us get to where we want to go in life and reach our goals.

EP 148 Invest your Money Wisely with Brandon T. Adams

EP 148 Invest your Money Wisely with Brandon T. Adams
What are you spending your money on regularly? Are you keeping track at all? How much of your money is going to work for you and help you make more money? These are all questions you should be asking yourself. I’m always watching how I spend my money. I recently bought a guitar for myself and kind of felt guilty. It had been the first real gift that I had bought for myself in a long time. I’m very frugal and only like to spend money on things that make me money. I’m constantly putting money back into my companies and planting many seeds that will grow into money trees one day.

EP 146 My Advice to my Younger Self with Brandon T. Adams

EP 146 My Advice to my Younger Self with Brandon T. Adams
I had a 17-year-old named Austin Gray ask me: what advice would you give me after everything you have learned the past few years? What do you wish you had done differently? Well, there are multiple things that went through my mind and there were many things that I did wrong over the past few years, but those mistakes are what led me to where I am today. The first response I gave Austin was this: “Find someone who has already achieved what you want to achieve and follow in their footsteps. Learn from them and create your own path of success. Add value to them and ask them if you can help them. See if they would be your mentor and in return you can do whatever is needed of them. Work for free, but really it’s not for free. While working for them you will get the best education you could ever get and gain their respect. Over time they will value you and introduce you to others. It just takes one introduction from that person to open doors for you that could make you millions. Being associated with other successful and prestige people will raise the credibility of yourself. And also, you are the average of the 5 people that you hang out with. If you want to become a billionaire you need to hang out with other billionaires.”

EP 145 Building an Empire with Brandon T. Adams

EP 145 Building an Empire with Brandon T. Adams
Over the past few years I have got my hands into many projects and I’ve always wanted to be the best at what I worked on. Back in 2012 I thought I knew what I want. At that time I was motivated to get Arctic Stick to market and also become a millionaire as fast as possible. At that time I thought I could work my way to millionaire status. Work nonstop and eventually it would all fall into place. When your main driver for success is to get the money, then you are doing it all wrong.

EP 143 Persistence Pays off with Haris Reis

EP 143 Persistence Pays off with Haris Reis
Haris Reis is one of the most persistent guys that I know. His persistence is what led to him getting on my podcast show. We first met in April at the Young Entrepreneur Convention. He came up to me after I spoke and offered to come on my podcast show. I didn't think much of it at first, but then he kept following up with emails. This went on for 2 months, which finally led to us meeting in New York, then him coming on my show. EP 141 What is Your Definition of Success with Brandon T. Adams

EP 141 What is Your Definition of Success with Brandon T. Adams
What does success mean to you? Most people think that being successful is having lots of money, nice cars, clothes, and being famous. Those are all good things to have, but if you have those things does it mean you are successful? I know rich people that have everything that I just said, but they aren’t happy. Wouldn't you think happiness should be a big part of your success? Everyone has their own version of success and my definition of success is doing the things that you love, being the best at what you do, and personally getting better every single day.

I've interviewed many entrepreneurs and have seen the struggles that they go through in business and in life. Most people lack confidence and also fail to make leaps of faith when they are necessary, because they are scared of failure. I share with you how I've been able to overcome those obstacles, do things that scare me regularly, and how you can too. If you aren't making decisions that scare you then you aren't growing.

EP 137 Life Lessons with Brandon T. Adams

EP 137 Life Lessons with Brandon T. Adams
I’ve learned many lessons over the past 8 years during college and also during the early stages of some of my businesses. I’ve made many mistakes along the way, which have made me into a more seasoned entrepreneur. I still have a lot to learn but I want to share my mistakes with you so you don’t make the same in your own journey. Some of my failures in my journey have led to my greatest successes in life, but there is much to be learned from them.

EP 128 How to Become a Keynote Speaker with Brandon T. Adams

EP 128 How to Become a Keynote Speaker with Brandon T. Adams
I knew at a young age I wanted to be a great salesmen and that I would do something big one day. I also knew that in order to do that I would have to be a great speaker. This motivated me to get better and make my weakness my strength. Everyday I would practice speaking in front of a mirror and make sure my words were annunciated correctly. I would listen to myself and practice saying words that were difficult for me. Over time I continued to get better and eventually I confidently would speak in front of my class.
