#169 - The Price is Right & Bumbershoot (Variety Show)

Today's Variety Show has the boys looking back at Seattle’s longest running music & arts festival and its run during the 90s as well as a send off to Bob Barker (RIP to the Max) who was also born in Western Washington.

NOTE: This episode was created during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA Strikes of 2023. Without the labor of writers and actors currently on strike, we wouldn’t have the majority of pop culture our show focuses on, even from the 90s.

    Cory Tate - A Tale of Two Interviews - Part 2 - Episode #8

In a moment of coincidence, our tale begins where last week's discussion ended, with rambling opinions on Marvel's Wonderverse, leading us into the cultural qualities that make up a Seattle artist.  Tate fondly recalls the 90's icons that helped shape his own unique identity within hip-hop culture.  Elaborating on his local adventures that guided his path towards being the lyricist he is today.  Be sure to check out Cory's latest work on all music streaming services.

KI5150 25 : Festaroo for the Restayou OR The Day of Too Many Bands

KI5150 25 : Festaroo for the Restayou OR The Day of Too Many Bands
Dodgy sound recording. This was recorded so long ago that we actually had nice weather. We talk about floods and boats, we don't let our lack of knowledge stand in the way of our opinions. Then boy bands and chip tunes. God, do we ever shut up? The we get into music Festaroos! Terrible festivals we've either been to or spent time imagining and then disapproving.
