Cabin in the Woods: Linns schlimmster Albtraum

Cabin in the Woods: Linns schlimmster Albtraum
64 Was ist dein schlimmster Albtraum? Seid gespannt! Freitag mehr xoxo Linn und Leo WERBUNG: BookBeat - Unbegrenzt Hörbücher hören. Mit unserer Hörbuch App kannst du so viele Hörbücher/Monat anhören, wie du möchtest. YYYYOOOOUUUUU'RRRREEE FFFFIIIIRRRREEEEEED!

Vince McMahon strikes! Or is it Max?

Catwoman shows what Sesame Street taught her and impresses us all with her counting skills. One life down, two lives down, three lives down, ah, ha, ha!

Max pulls the trigger on that gun he's holding. But he's shot his wad.

Returning to the investigative crew is Ms Plissken herself - it's Molly Bailen of Escape from New York Minute! Within Molly we've planted two microscopic capsules lodged in her arteries. They're already starting to dissolve. In 22 hours, the cores will completely dissolve. Inside the cores are a heat-sensing charge. Not a large explosion, about the size of a pinhead, just big enough to open up both of her arteries. What better way to ensure that the best of the best gets the job done? We've can't have this wildcard going rogue, damn it!

The Mummy, The Cabin in the Woods, and The Endless

The Mummy, The Cabin in the Woods, and The Endless

    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Igq6C6CdmI]

This week, after the news, we’ll cover the Universal Studios movie “The Mummy” from 1932, the drive-in classic, “The Cabin in the Woods” from 2011, discussion of the short film, “Invaders”, and the more recent “The Endless” from 2017.

    News Features

    1. You saw that one movie late at night 30 years ago that had a giant octopus attacking people and it had something to do with the monster being attracted to radio but you can’t remember the name of it no matter how hard you try. We have found the site for you. It’s called “What is my movie? At whatismymovie.com. Enter “giant octopus radio” and you’ll find out that it was “Tentacles” from 1977 as the first suggestion. There was some movie about people being ground up into cat food - “cat food people” brings up “The Corpse Grinders” as a top match. With general, title, actor, and director-based searches, it’s a marvel for movies of all genres and it’s fun to play around with. Good luck trying to stump it!

    1. The movie you didn’t know you needed has become a reality “VelociPastor”. After a devastating family tragedy, a priest travels to China to find deeper spirituality, but instead is endowed with an ancient ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. At first, he is horrified by his newfound superpower, but a local prostitute convinces him to use his newfound gift to fight evil – and ninjas. Yes, he’s a “Man of the Claw” as the poster put it. What started out as a trailer and an idea will make its premier at a midnight at the Texas Frightmare Weekend on May 3rd. Hopefully it will be available more widely from there. You really should check out the trailer we have linked in the show notes. It looks awesomely fun.

    1. And speaking of other weirdness that’s nightmare fuel, birthdeathmovies.com has alerted us all to a fine piece of work called “True Detective Pikachu”. Reimagining Matthew McConaughey’s gruff character from season one as a man-sized Pikachu partnered with Ash as hard-boiled detectives in a world of darkness and humanoid creatures and crime. It’s not exactly horror, but it comes close enough. If you’re a fan of the HBO series or Pokemon Go or hopefully both, you really need to see this three-minute video that we’ve linked to in the show notes.

Pengie breaks out the bubbly! It's Moët time, bay-bay! Oswald has a few other ideas of how to celebrate, however... and Selina is having NONE of it! Down, boy!

Or we could have Catwoman spayed, of course. Yes. That seems like an entirely sensible option.

The Penguin seeks revenge for this rejection via helicopter umbrella! Goodbye!

Back to rock this pod like never before is returning superstar Heidi Bennett! This Vibrant Visionary has been through hell holes and back more than once and she's more than ready to turn the heat all the way up to eleven yet again and solve this case. Tonight Heidi is gonna rock you tonight.
