On part two of our conversation Gearoid chatted about his successful career with Cork City FC, a short spell in England with Cambridge United including a debut in the FA Cup at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
He also spoke about the difference between the leagues and the mentality it takes to become an elite player at the highest level, and finally his decision to retire and start the next chapter of his life.
