Introduction to Just Be Real Sis Podcast

Introduction to Just Be Real Sis Podcast

In this first episode, you will hear true stories of instances where even success wasn’t enough to overcome the limitations that others assign based on gender, ethnicity, or implicit bias. These stories shine a light on what it is really like to live under the weight of the assumptions of others and still excel. Our hosts invite the listeners to take a closer look at their own lives and identify times when they may have been misjudged or misjudged someone else. The episode concludes with 3 powerful tips on how to handle those moments when you are underestimated or forced into a box that may not fit.

Do you believe in the power of collaboration over competition? We are two successful women who know that we are an unstoppable force when we align and focus on what matter most in life. We live this way every day of our lives. We believe that women can win together. Collective growth and success are the goals. We live boldly. We live authentically. We live unapologetically.

We encourage you to do the same. We embrace our strength, while respecting our vulnerabilities. We understand the need for REAL conversations with diverse perspectives because we are more alike than we are different. We know that inclusion and honesty are our superpowers. We don’t build walls. We tear them down. The only requirement to join us? Just Be Real Sis.
