Can Case Keenum lead the Browns to the AFC title game?

Can Case Keenum lead the Browns to the AFC title game?

It seems like every time Baker Mayfield's injured shoulder gets brought up, there's something worse going on. First it was a partially torn labrum. Then it was a fully torn labrum. Now it's a shoulder fracture in addition to the labrum tear.

And yet, there are still questions about whether or not the Browns quarterback should try and play through it.

On the latest Cover 2, Nate Ulrich and Dan Kadar continue to talk about Mayfield and what direction he and the Browns should take.

If the Browns sit Mayfield for the rest of the season, can veteran backup Case Keenum lead the team to the AFC Championship Game? Dan thinks so, but Nate isn't so sure.

The guys also play the schedule game on this week's podcast. Cleveland has 10 games left in the regular season with a Week 13 bye in the middle of them. Six of the 10 games come against AFC North opponents. How many games do the Browns need to win the rest of this season?

The show concludes this week by talking some NFL trade rumors. Will the Browns be players before next Tuesday's 4 p.m. deadline? If so, Nate has some ideas on the positions the Browns could target.

10 seconds left. 4th quarter. Down by 1. It’s the playoffs—it’s the moment every kid imagines in their own back yard. The clock is counting down and Case Keenum throws a new perfect pass to Stefon Diggs who somehow, miraculously, catches it and makes it to the endzone.

Vikings win in one of the craziest 4th quarter comebacks to date. And while the Minneapolis Miracle will live in the memories of sports fans forever, Quarterback Case Keenum has something else he’d like to be remembered for—his faith.

On today’s episode, hear Case share about his NFL journey, what it’s been like moving from team to team, and why the Minneapolis Miracle is only the fourth greatest moment of his life.

The second half of the show puts Greg on his own to recap his booms and busts of Week 16, then preview Week 17. Which games matter the most for the NFL playoffs, and how will they impact fantasy? Where will the Seahawks turn at running back in the wake of injuries to Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise? Can Damien Williams or Kerryon Johnson be trusted? Week 14 Recap & Week 15 Waivers with Holden Kushner

Week 14 Recap & Week 15 Waivers with Holden Kushner

    Summary

On this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Holden Kushner joins Greg to recap Week 14 and work the Week 15 waiver wire en route to glory in the 2019 fantasy football playoffs. Their booms of the week kick things off. Holden laments the loss of Calvin Ridley while celebrating the ascension of Ian Thomas, and Greg wonders if he can run back Joe Mixon against New England next week. Ryan Tannehill also went boom, but he did so from Greg's bench. Was the benching process sound, though? Greg argues that touchdown regression could still be on the table for Tannehill going forward. Busts of the week come next, featuring Jack Doyle and Brandin Cooks, but also with hat tips to the inactive Josh Jacobs and the laundry list of players who ended up injured on Sunday. The second half of the show is a breakdown of the Week 15 waiver wire. Should Raheem Mostert or DeAndre Washington be the top priority at running back? Are Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, and Patrick Laird even worth additions considering their poor offensive situations? Why aren't Zach Pascal and A.J. Brown already owned in more leagues? Did Week 14's injuries to Mike Evans and DeVante Parker create more opportunity at wide receiver in Tampa or Miami? Speaking of the Bucs, is O.J. Howard finally back on the fantasy radar? Can Case Keenum salvage Terry McLaurin's value? Who are the top streaming options at quarterback and defense? What other lingering questions and difficult decisions will keep Greg and Holden up at night as Week 15 approaches? Listen in and get the scoop from two of 4for4's finest.

Week 4 Waiver Wire Strategy with Chris Allen

Week 4 Waiver Wire Strategy with Chris Allen

    Summary

On this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Chris Allen joins Greg Smith to parse through the Week 4 Waiver Wire. They begin by discussing how to navigate bye weeks, as well as how to adjust your waiver approach after you've spent most of your FAAB. Then it's on to the various positions, beginning with running backs before moving on to wide receivers, tight ends, quarterbacks, and team defenses. How will James White's return impact Rex Burkhead's fantasy value? What percentage of your remaining FAAB is Wayne Gallman worth? Which handcuff-type running backs have the most value off waivers? Would Deon Cain or Parris Campbell be the primary beneficiary if T.Y. Hilton misses time?  Why isn't Kenny Stills owned in more leagues? Does Auden Tate matter? How about Demetrius Harris and Dawson Knox? How are we applying the small amount on data we have on newly appointed starting quarterbacks to our Week 4 waiver decisions? After your hosts sort through all these topics and more, they wrap up the show with suggestions for players to drop  and some  position-agnostic waiver rankings  of players with the most raw value in a vacuum.

#37 - Top 40 QB Countdown (#32-28), done with Eli excuses, and Big Phil wants an 18-game schedule

#37 - Top 40 QB Countdown (#32-28), done with Eli excuses, and Big Phil wants an 18-game schedule

The Simms Top 40 QB Countdown keeps rolling with 5 more passers revealed, right after Chris gets some eggs cracked on his head (1:20). Then the latest NFL news: How does Gerald McCoy fit into the Panthers defense (5:14)? Is Todd Gurley headed down the same path as Calvin Johnson (9:17)? Then reacting to your Twitter questions, Chris breaks down the Ryan Fitzpatrick Cycle (13:08). Speaking of Fitz, why will he and Josh Rosen be memorizing words like "topper" and gotti" this offseason (18:20)? Then, the highest backup QB on the countdown lands at #31 (25:08). It took a while, but Chris finally has had it with the excuses for Eli Manning (29:10). Ahmed puts Simms through a round of "Is he younger than Lamar Jackson?" (32:04) Marcus Mariota enters the countdown (40:14), and Big Phil Simms joins to give his thoughts on the Titans QB (46:31). And while plenty of fans are against the NFL expanding to an 18-game schedule, Phil explains why he would embrace it (50:05). Finally, we cap the episode with the last QB of the day, who will have to hold off a first-round rookie this summer (1:11:35).
