It's the week before Christmas and the real vs artificial tree debate lives on.  Rebecca talks about how she has evolved from the thrill of the hunt for the perfect real tree (a/k/a old and stodgy) while  Ann misses the traditional green tree (despite the bugs, and the occasional owl or snake).  And of course, we get into a spirited debate about how our flocked tree is either perfect or losing it's luster!  You decide - we'll post a photo our tree in all  its failing flockage glory on the Moderately Prepared Facebook page and you let us know what you think.

Levi Heidrich is owner of Colorado Tree Farm Nursery in Colorado Springs. 

He and his siblings are Colorado natives. They own and operate their family nursery in Colorado Springs, and have been in business since 1977, and in Colorado since 1980.

They specialize in hardy landscape trees, shrubs, and perennials that thrive in the trying Colorado climate.  Starting Black Friday they sell fresh cut Christmas Trees.  Varieties include Fraser Fir, White Fir, Balsam Fir, Canaan Fir, Douglas Fir, White Pine, and Native Fir that he and his brother cut in Colorado. They also carry tree stands, removal bags, wreaths, garlands, and accessories. 

They pride themselves on having quality products, great service, and creating an environment for their team where they can thrive and grow…no pun intended.
