    ART IN FILM

    ART IN FILM
Art is the beating heart of filmmaking, uniting a diverse ensemble of individuals, each contributing their unique artistic prowess to craft unforgettable cinematic experiences. From directors to cinematographers, writers to set designers, everyone involved in the filmmaking process is an artist in their own right. It is the collaborative synergy of these creative minds that gives birth to movies that inspire, provoke laughter, elicit tears, and stimulate thought. The artistry in film is evident not only in the final product but also in the seamless coordination of talents working cohesively as a team. It is this collective artistic expression that breathes life into storytelling on the silver screen, making cinema a powerful medium that resonates with audiences on emotional, intellectual, and visual levels.

Wine to Find, Ep 157: South African Wines with Stellies Wine Importers

Wines: 2020 Springfield Estate Albarino, 2020 a Life From Stone Sauvignon Blanc, Over the Mountain Syrah Rosé, and 2018 Dieu Donné Merlot.

Kicking the year of fabulous guests off with TWO great ones and FOUR wines!!

Our guests today are Patrick Dupree and Lorna Daniel-Dupree. Patrick is a cinematographer, photographer, and WSET Certified. Lorna is also a photographer and cinematographer. Both have a passion and love for wine and South Africa and established Stellies Wines in order to share both with the world.

Lorna grew up in S.A. and met her husband, Patrick on-set of a well-known reality show filming there. Both enjoy visiting South African wineries in their downtime. They found it difficult to find the wines they loved when they moved to their California home, so they solved that problem by establishing Stellies Wines.

Listen to hear more of their story and how we enjoyed these FOUR wines!
