Short Suck #5 - The Wild West's Deadliest Hitman: Jim "Killer" Miller

Short Suck #5 - The Wild West's Deadliest Hitman: Jim "Killer" Miller

Jim Miller. Killin' Jim. Right before stepping off a wooden crate with a noose around his neck, in front of the members of the lynch mob that wanted him dead, Miller claimed to have killed 51 men. I believe him. This guy put the wild... in the wild west.  Hope you enjoy this Short Suck! Have a great weekend!

14 - The Princess and the Frog Pt. 1 (w/ Regina Renée Russell)

This week we are thrilled to welcome back friend of the pod Regina Reneé Russell for a deep dive into Disney's last hand-drawn movie musical The Princess and the Frog, and let us just warn you: it is worse than you remember it. This week we'll cover the empty spaces in the Disney Princess Cinematic Universe, the many missteps in the journey to the first Black Disney Princess, and the many crimes against Tiana and the girls who would idolize her. There is not enough time for all of it, but don't worry: we'll be back next week with more.

Challenging Stereotypes: Diversity and the American Hunting Legacy

Challenging Stereotypes: Diversity and the American Hunting Legacy
The conservation community is talking a lot about barriers to hunting, especially for people living in urban areas and those who are underrepresented in the activity, including people of color and women. But what if the hunter stereotype itself is the biggest barrier? Join hosts Tylar Greene and Kaylin Clements from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as they discuss the complex culture of hunting with Dr. Lincoln Larson, who is conducting research on the topic, and Black Wolf Hunting Club founder Eric Morris, who's dedicated his life to promoting hunting in the black community and engaging people in the outdoors.
