    How to Craft An Effective Client Journey - EP: 7

    Now that you have your target audience defined, we can talk client journey.

    The customer journey helps business podcasts to create personalized experiences specific to each touch-point and channel.

    What are the challenges that your audience is facing? 

    Are there common problems that come up along their journey to success?

    The answers to these questions will give you a real insight into what your customers want and any parts of your product, brand or process that can help them get there.

    The Business Podcast Roadmap is a great example of this.

    This is a client journey that we have mapped out for our podcast clients at Cashflow Podcasting.

    We have found that when a potential client first comes to us, they have a business and offers already established.

    They generally know who their audience and clients are, and they have built up a bit of an audience.

    These prospects are generally ready to scale their business growth and build a deeper connection with their audience.

    This is their starting point on our client journey.

    The end goal for our customers is for them to have a podcast that is baked into their online marketing machine.

    All they have to do once they get to this point is focus on sharing their expertise and growing their authority on the subject.

    Think of your client journey as a parade.

    Some of your prospects are at the front of your parade and they’re ready for you, interested in whatever it is that you have to offer.

    More of your prospects will be in the middle of your parade, checking you out, curious as to what it is you do.

    Lastly, some of your prospects will be in the back, not sure if they’re ready to make the leap and sign up.

    They’re also going to be at similar spots on their journey.

    Some of the prospective clients that you run across will likely be at a place where they can only commit to a lower ticket offer.

    Then there will be some that can come in at a middle ticket and some that can come in at a higher ticket.

    Your job is to figure out where people are now, encouraging them along on their journey from your lower ticket items to your higher-priced offers.

    Help them where they are to get them to reach their desired outcomes.⁠

    I want you to create courses that are tailored to your client journey.

    Make sure that every element that you are teaching at every tier price is moving people along.

    Each place your client arrives at is helping them along to your next offer.

    Each offer that you are providing is allowing them amazing transformational results.

    Episode 5: Do You Know Your Ideal Client Avatar?

    I want to talk to you about the power of getting razor-sharp clarity on your ideal client avatar.

    A lot of coaches jump right in and start building their programs and offers without truly understanding what their prospective clients want or need.

    However, it’s important that you take the opportunity to focus on your ideal client while you’re developing, creating, and selling your offers.

    By doing so, each of your offers will solve a different problem for each of your clients.

    To be clear, your ideal client doesn’t change for your varying programs.

    That client will still have the same characteristics, the same exact demographics.

    That being said, that ideal client could be in many different places in their life or in their business.

    They’re looking at your offers and figuring out where your offer fits into their journey.

    They may take different routes or different paths, but they’ll all need access to certain information to solve their problem.

    Certain information that you can provide them.

    Your ideal client determines what they need, and then you give them the tools to succeed wherever they happen to be on their journey.
