Emotional, Mental, Spiritual, and Health Clutter

Many couples argue about clutter and disorganization. A messy desk can be a roadblock for financial freedom when bills aren't paid on time and a stuffed closet can prevent a romance from blossoming. Clutter has been found to be a contributing factor in non-compliance with taking meds, keeping appointments, and not exercising. It has been implicated in depression, anxiety, and a general dampening of brain function. All of this affects you which affects your relationships.

Emotional clutter is  the persistent, negative thoughts we have about ourselves, our lives, and others

Physical clutter can cost us time (not being able to find what we need when we need it) and money (paying bills late).

Mental clutter can create anxiety and overwhelm while emotional clutter of not acknowledging our emotions can create bad habits like emotional eating or jealousy. We can have clutter in our relationships when our inner circle is not supportive.

Spiritual clutter can come in the form of not forgiving, or comparing ourselves.

We can create health clutter by not taking care of ourselves.

Being organized is also important. If you aren't organized you may be losing money, and your sense of peace. Being organized can also save you time and reduce your stress. If you bring someone into your space, they are noticing if the area is organized and clutter free whether or not they are aware of it.

On this episode, award-winning professional declutter’er and host of the popular podcast, "Clear Your Clutter Inside & Out," Julie Coraccio talks about her passion in supporting people in clearing emotional, spiritual, mental, and health clutter so people many learn how to live life more fully; getting organized and becoming more mindful and aware as as potential partner.
