Unlock the second part of the episode and access the full transcript in Spanish and English by subscribing to Let’s Talk Spanish Premium! https://espeakspanish.supercast.com/

Other benefits include exclusive access to the transcripts for all previous episodes, extended versions of all episodes and 20 Beginners’ Corner episodes not available anywhere else.

In this episode, I talk in Spanish all about my experiences sharing a house with other people. I cover the things that I enjoyed the most, talking about my time at university, but finish off with a very well-rounded look at the many things I don’t like about sharing with other people - you can probably tell by the episode title what some of the reasons are gonna be!

You’ll hear me use a wide range of different Spanish words and phrases throughout the episode, plus many different Spanish tenses. These are all used in a very conversational context, helping you learn words that will upgrade your conversational Spanish while improving your listening skills.

This isn’t a grammar lesson - because we don’t do grammar here! This is a listening practice that will help beginner and intermediate adult Spanish learners to learn Spanish for real-world conversations and travel.

Here’s a bit of a controversial opinion: smartwatches are the devil.

This week’s Let’s Talk Spanish podcast episode is all about smartwatches. They seem to be everywhere nowadays - with young and old and everyone in between using them.

Learn Spanish while hearing me first talk about lots of the reasons people use smartwatches. Then, I go into lots of detail about why I think smartwatches are extremely dangerous for our society and our world as a whole, looking at lots of different aspects of them that are causing us problems.

This is one of my Everyday Spanish episodes, where I speak in Spanish about interesting everyday topics so you can learn conversational Spanish in context and improve your Spanish understanding.

    Enjoy!

Music in Spanish has blown up over the last few years, and reggaetón has definitely led the way.

Practise your Spanish listening to me talk about:

    • Where reggaetón is actually from (no, it didn’t start in Puerto Rico!)
    • Why there’s controversy around the music genre and some of the problems it’s faced in the past
    • Some of the records held by reggaetón artists

    And lots more!
