Prafit Tha Don and Donny Nevada, even though these are 2 individual artist they choose to come together and share this spotlight not only to represent Buffalo but also Family since they are blood cousins. Prafit the Don came o to speak on his up and coming project All About A Profit set to drop on April 22nd of this year. Donny Nevada speaks on his initial mission to drop a new single every week of 2022 but then explains how Prafit got in his head and spoke on the importance of a project. Hear about they upbringing in Buffalo, the streets and people who influenced them to do what they are doing now. Where they names came from and the plans they have to finish out 2022. On November 14, 2021,  on a Sunday, Horry County, South Carolina, lost a towering giant in the history of the region. Lois Eargle was a trailblazer, never politically correct, and never afraid to speak her mind. She was an unabashedly proud public servant for the people of Horry County and most of all a servant of her Lord, Jesus Christ. 

She opened doors for young people,  an especially women in politics, as the first woman elected to the South Carolina State House from Horry County and then the first woman elected Horry County Auditor. By the time her long, nearly 50 year career was through,  she retired this summer in July of 2021, Horry County had not only a female Horry County Auditor replacing her  but women held the Treasurer's Office, the Probate Judge's office, a former Chairman of County Council, another legislator from Horry County from Socastee was a woman and the Mayor's of Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Conway  were all women plus countless members of city councils all across the county, and a former Mayor of Atlantic Beach were women, and even a former Governor and prospect for President from South Carolina was a  women. 

In countless ways Lois Eargle led the way, she may not have always done it perfectly, but she surely did it in style and one thing everyone will agree on is that Lois Eargle won't be forgotten when they write the history of the Independent Republic of Horry County for the nearly 50 years she stood tall on her times. 

On a personal note, she was an enormous influence on my life and career from the time I met her when I was 13 years old and she was a candidate for the United States Congress. She would go on to be my employer, a mentor, an advisor, an occasional adversary but always a  friend and someone whom I could always count on for help if I needed it.  I was, as was almost everyone who ever knew Lois Eargle,  always, always  star struck. As the Carly Simon song says "Nobody Does it Better" and in our little corner of the world that song described no one in the political world better than Lois Eargle. 

So here is our tribute to her.

Put your headphones in, and get your hands in the dirt.  This episode is going to fill your ears and heart with purpose and a mission (and some ideas for Spring planting!).  Meet Deanna Kitchen; she is wife, momma, farm girl, entrepreneur, floral designer and teacher, owner of flourishing Twig & Vine dahlia farm,  and founder (also Chief Flower Giver) of the non-profit Growing Kindness Project (GKP).   Their mission is simple, and yet quite profound; grow kindness.  GKP's aim is to empower, educate, and encourage acts of kindness through the growing and giving of flowers.  They freely give dahlia tubers to people with the intent to grow and continue the ripples of kindness in their own communities.  GKP has ambassadors worldwide and offers education so any level grower can participate. 
This  all started with a mom and her boys,  a squeaky wagon full of dahlias and a desire to spread joy in their community.   Nothing tricky or overly strategic.  Just share kindness and joy.    As is always the case, the giver is just as blessed as the receiver.  Those dahlias were the catalyst to a worldwide movement to spread kindness by a process of grow, cut, give, repeat.   And it is working, and growing as fast as Deanna's busy hands, lots of volunteers, and rows of dahlia fields can manage.    Listen to her heart-full story, the start of something profound, and hear about how you can participate in growing kindness from your own plot of dirt.   It's as easy as purchasing dahlia tubers-which  YOU CAN DO!

I know it's Easter, and not Christmas, but this is to bring both together. The focus is on Christ - One for His Birth, the other(today)Is for His Sacrifice and Resurrection! I hope this and the following messages help to encourage you.

Easter Series 1: Who this Child would Become from Isaiah 9:6-7

If you've been in church or sat in a Vacation Bible School or in Sunday School, You have probably heard this story. In this study we go a little deeper than a 15 min overview of this account. God used a very wise and brave woman to save the life of a future leader, and she was rewarded for it. Lets look at how God protected, provided for, and Prepared His man.

So we are now 80 years from the Baby in the Basket. We now join Moses in the wilderness of Midian, in the middle of nowhere. He was leading his father-in-law's sheep and sees a burning bush on a mountain (Mt Sinai). God used this mountain in the middle of nowhere to be the meeting place with Moses, and it's here where God sends Moses back to Egypt. Who was in the fire of the burning bush? Moses was human like us. He asked God some good questions. How did God answer these questions while at the same time revealing more about Himself. Also, we find here what makes a good leader from these verses (and again through out Scripture). God had been waiting on his man along with His (God's) perfect timing.

This is the 2nd Book of the Bible and of Moses 5 Books of the Law. This Book is about God Redeeming Israel and Making them into His Chosen Holy Nation.

Sometimes God allows our lives to become less comfortable, but it's for a good reason. Eagles stir up their nest, letting the twigs and thorns that had been covered before, to cause their children to leave the nest. Many times God will use situations (like these) to get us ready to leave where we've become comfortable, and join Him in a place He has been preparing for us. God prepares us for what He has in store for us. All of this is to bring Him glory, not just among Israel, but among all the nations, and from our world today. 

We start our journey where we left off in Genesis... How things have changed!
