A long overdue recording with one of Fort Worth's heaviest hitters in our city's music scene. Say hello to our friend Ernie. You know him on social media as It's Ernie. His primary art form seems to be music in the hip hop genera however, he is known internationally for his content on social media. He has millions upon millions of views on videos ranging from his performances on stage and content from other talented artists to behind the scenes looks at some of the fun him and his friends are having. Check out Ernie's content on Tik Tok @itsernie and on Instagram as @itsernie_

His friend Roane was able to join us as well in this recording. Roane has earned the nickname The Fort Worth Swiss Army Knife since he is apparently a one stop shop of talent and a powerful ally in the music space. Fine Roane on Instagram @roanemusic.

The Fort Worth Missing Trio - Part 1

The Fort Worth Missing Trio - Part 1

On December 23, 1974, Mary Rachel Trlica, Lisa Renee Wilson, and Julie Ann Moseley went out shopping for the upcoming holiday, but never returned home. The car Rachel was driving was found parked in the Sears parking lot later that evening by family members. The car was locked, there was no signs of foul play, it seemed as though the girls had just vanished. The case is almost 50 years old, and police will say; every clue, every detail, leads them back to the parking lot. What happened to these girls?

Did I forget to include something? Let me know please! media@fortworthroots.com About the show! This Interview style podcast or variety interview podcast originates out of Fort Worth Texas. We've recorded episodes in the Fort Worth Stockyards, many homes and offices, we've traveled all over the DFW area, and now currently we have set up shop in Austin Texas at the foot of the Hill Country. Its always been the purpose of the show to be a true mobile podcast with a mobile podcast studio. While we grow the show and continue to make friends, we are in the process of what one of our guests calls "bridge building". Simply put, bridge building is the process of working on your dreams while maintaining your day job! Andrew Turner, the host of Fort Worth Roots, is no stranger to the perils of being in business for himself. His first business was a landscape design business that landed him a role on HGTV with Andy and Ashley Williams on the show " Flip or Flop Fort Worth. Andrew and his little company appeared on 6 episodes of the show. This was the first time he had been part of a production this size. Eventually the show was finished filming and two years later Andrew left the world of landscape design. With experience in a dozen or more industries Andrew finds it easy to connect with almost all of his guests. The show continues to evolve and change with each episode. Bringing more interesting content to every recording is the goal and maintaining a feel of authenticity is paramount. We hope you enjoy the show and, we would love to hear from you!
