Cryptocurrencies are often volatile, typically trade around the clock, contain different rights and privileges, and therefore present special challenges in valuation. Additionally, the number of entities in the digital currency ecosystem has grown significantly and has been accompanied by the development of new capital tools such as Simple Agreements for Future Token (SAFT) and accompanying financial instruments.
