Apostle Paul wrote with urgency, right before his death, to impart what he had to Timothy. In church we find family - those that can impart to us and that we, in turn, can impart into. We are ALL an important member in the family of Christ.

In these last days how do we avoid burnout, fatigue and complacency in our everyday walk with The Lord? How do we keep ourselves filled and able to minister to others? Julie uses the parable of the ten virgins to challenge and spur us on towards what we need to do to live wisely!

At certain times in our lives it can appear that we merely go through our lives "doing all the stuff",while still consuming the word of God we some how still manage to find ourselves hungry on on the inside. - It's at time like these that we need the washing of the word over our lives, Matt 6:11 explains this perfectly, "Give us - this day - our daily bread". You see God speaks to us everyday, in everyday ways. If we can listen quietly, we can hear God speaking to us naturally all the time.

Jesus walked among us ...He chose everyday people. We read the pages of the bible and are in awe of people like Peter. As he passed by people they were healed by his shadow. Lets take a closer look at this man and see if he reminds you of anyone…

John 5:1-15 AMP LATER ON there was a Jewish festival for which Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem a pool near the Sheep Gate. This pool in the Hebrew is called Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great number of sick folk - some blind, some crippled, and some paralyzed (shriveled up) waiting for the bubbling up of the water. For an angel of the Lord went down at appointed seasons into the pool and moved and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was cured of whatever disease with which he was afflicted. There was a certain man there who had suffered with a deep-seated and lingering disorder for thirty-eight years. When Jesus noticed him lying there [helpless], knowing that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, Do you want to become well? [Are you really in earnest about getting well?] The invalid answered, Sir, I have nobody when the water is moving to put me into the pool; but while I am trying to come [into it] myself, somebody else steps down ahead of me. Jesus said to him, Get up! Pick up your bed (sleeping pad) and walk! Instantly the man became well and recovered his strength and picked up his bed and walked……. There are not one but many encounters with The Lord that we will need on our journey to keep us alive in Him. Jesus is waiting at the place of our need .. Waiting to stir the water.. Waiting to lift your gaze .. Waiting to look into your eyes and tell you who you are .. That you would see yourself as He sees you. Do you tend to blend in or come under the darkness around you?As Christians we are called the light of the world. The hope of the world Jesus Christ lives in us. Christ in you is an illuminated light. All you have to do is flick the switch and believe.

Human beings cannot find complete fulfillment in life unless they find purpose in life. But only in the presence of God can you and I experience being the full glory of what we were created for. The key to find yourself and your intended glory is found in Eden in the garden of his presence.

God's "goodness" cannot be measured by human standards. It is so perfect and composed of so many numerous and diverse elements or facets that it cannot be altered by outside forces. His "goodness" is eternal.

The journey of the Cross through the blood of Jesus was a pathway set before us of freedom redemption and salvation, restoring all that was lost in the Garden. "It is finished" He cried! Do we become Christians and just attend church...or are we a a part of a much bigger picture?

The church is the Fathers house where His kids abide - the church is a family! Just as in a natural family the mature children bring their board to the parent to contribute to the house, so the tithe or ten percent is the board that we bring to our Dad for his house.

Humans are like people stuck in a cave looking at shadows on a wall believing the shadows are real but they are just things that get in front of the light. Shadows! The people living in darkness have seen a great light on those living in the land of the shadow of death - a light has dawned

We serve a God with emotions - a God who loves to be loved. We serve a God who has a love language and the word that is used over and over in scripture it describe what He loves is "praise".

There are many stages of learning to follow. Sometimes we start running ahead of God, walking in our own strength rather than following Him and resting in His strength, love and protection.

Agape love is God's kind of love. It is seeking the welfare and betterment of another regardless of how we feel. Agape does not have the primary meaning of feelings or affection. Jesus displayed it when he went to the cross and died for you and me regardless of how He felt. We can agape others regardless of how we feel. If they are hungry, we can feed them; if they thirst we can give them a drink (Rom. 12:20-21). We can choose to seek the betterment and welfare of others regardless of how we feel.

Every life is important to God and we all have a path to walk to receive the incredible inheritance God has planned for us. It is our choice to follow that path even though we don't know where it will lead.
