Ep. 45: MLB the Sho, Defaced Jackie Robinson Plaque, Presenting our 'Then & Now' Series (25-20)

The boys start this week out by continuing their latest vent about the MLB Lockout. After they cool off a little, they give props to Shohei Ohtani for being selected as the new face of MLB the Show 22. In today's headlines, they discuss the latest news of a Jackie Robinson plaque outside of his hometown of Cairo, Georgia that was vandalized and then brought to the Negro League Museum in KC as is and what it represents. This transitions into the boys presenting their new 6-part series 'Then & Now'. Each show they pick five players (starting from 25 and counting down) to makeup their own greatest of all-time lists. For the Now part of the series, they select the top players in the right now for every position. This week they each pick who they feel are the top-five catchers in today's game. Afterwards, they round out the show with Collection Corner and some interesting Fanatics news.

Though their labor was needed, their father gave them as much free time as practical to learn and pursue their love of baseball; teaching them the game during lunch breaks and eventually all three starred on the Alpine Cowboys, a semi-pro team.
