Remember when we set foot in Epcot just before the massive revamp started? Well, we're here to revisit those fond memories and reveal the monumental changes that have taken place since then. We'll also dish out the highlights from the 2019 D23 Expo, including the huge announcements such as the Mary Poppins themed attraction and the Festival Pavilion. Wait till you hear about Dick Van Dyke's surprise appearance! And now that the walls are down at Epcot, we'll clue you in on the breathtaking changes we've spotted so far.
Hang on tight as we navigate through the exciting projects that were announced at the Expo, like the revamping of Spaceship Earth, the immersive Moana Journey of Water, and the adrenaline-pumping Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, some of these projects took a back seat. But fret not, we'll share how these initiatives were influenced by the pandemic and discuss our take on the completed projects. Also, we'll reveal our anticipation for those still in the works. Destination D23 is right around the corner, and this week we’re chatting about our predictions of what big Disney Park announcements will be made. Plus, news for the week, including a first look into Shanghai Disney’s Zootopia Land, changes coming to Walt Disney World Dining Plans, and everything we know so far about Disney Treasure.
Jacqueline and Meghan are back from their trip to New York/New Jersey, where they saw Moulin Rouge and Hercules the Musical. They also visited the Broadway Museum, the Winnie-the-Pooh stuffed animals at the New York Public Library, the Alice in Wonderland statues in Central Park, and more. In this episode, they talk about their experiences at all of these places, what they liked and didn't like, and any tips they have for planning your own trip.
They also discuss some of the other food they ate on their trip, like bagels and pizza.

However, EstoBro is hesitant if he should still invest or finally join the PC master race. With significant video game news hitting the web this week, TV also shed light on Rockstar's server being breached that leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 and EstoBro running a recap on Nintendo Direct with Goldeneye finally importing to the Nintendo Switch (12:40). The Gents also recap the D23 Expo that revealed next year's content releases from Disney (33:50), including the internet has absolutely no chill over the live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid. They also recap the first two weeks of fantasy football (45:50) especially the results in the podcast league. TV's chances of repeating as champion seem to be in jeopardy, as he also hints to the listening audience that the podcast's fantasy basketball league invitation is now open. EstoBro addresses the Meme Wars (54:30) being dragged into the British Empire after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Again, the 'no chill' factor on how the internet can be during current events just goes to show what direction we are going as a human race...god can truly only save her majesty and not her royal subjects left here on Earth.

It's safe to say that this episode didn't quite go according to plan. Instead of tackling topics like Halo Infinite's missing features, a high-profile developer leaving 343, and Ubisoft's ongoing issues with workplace misconduct allegations, our intrepid hosts spent roughly 50 minutes talking about Assassin's Creed. Well, they also didn't talk about D23 - Disney's annual self-love festival - but that was on purpose. But rest assured, it's still very fun.
