Le 11 décembre 2022, nous apprenions la disparition du compositeur américain : Angelo Badalamenti. Voilà pourquoi, dans le cadre de cette première émission de l'année 2023, Cinéma m'était conté a pris l'initiative de mettre à l'honneur cet immense musicien.

Pour mener à bon port notre programme, nous avons structuré notre émission de la façon suivante (en y ajoutant le minutage pour qui souhaite aller directement au thème choisi) :  

Ouverture : Twin Peaks.

Angelo Badalamenti et David Lynch : Blue Velvet, Une Histoire Vraie, Sailor et Lula, Mulholldand Drive (7ème minute).

Les musiques de l'angoisse : Freddy 3 et Arlington Road (30ème minute).

Angelo Badalementi et le cinéma français : La cité des enfants perdus et Un long dimanche de fiançailles (41ème minute).

Le Pitch
Richard, jeune Américain, amateur de sensations inédites a choisi l'Asie comme terrain d'élection, dans l'espoir d'y vivre des aventures fortes et exaltantes. Dans un hôtel miteux de Bangkok boudé par les touristes, il fait la connaissance d'un couple de Francais, Françoise et Etienne. Dans la nuit, un homme au regard halluciné fait irruption dans sa chambre et évoque une île secrète, une plage paradisiaque, où il aurait vécu plusieurs années au sein d'une petite communauté d'esprits libres. Le lendemain, Richard retrouve une carte de l'île et le cadavre de Daffy.
