This week on Delaware State of the Arts, Kaitlin Ammon interviews David Simmons, the conductor for the Encore Chorale of Wilmington and the Director of Music at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wilmington. Encore Chorale of Wilmington is a new chorus for adults ages 55 and older and is the first Encore Creativity for Older Adults (Encore) Chorale in Delaware. Simmons discusses the upcoming Winter/Spring 2022 semester, what participants can expect, and the impact of Encore and its chorale programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
