#357 - Publicly Doing His Worst - Gervonta "Tank" Davis

This week, we seem to climb inside an episode of "The Wire" to check out a West Baltimore boxer, who came from a terrible start, but found the neighborhood boxing gym, eventually freeing him from the cycle of poverty & drugs. Sounds like a nice story, right? Not so fast. He's also been accused of beating women, fighting in the streets, driving poorly, and leaving an injured pregnant woman inside of a car that he just crashed into!!

Beat the odds by getting out of your terrible neighborhood, have no one be able to beat you in the boxing ring, and never stop for the injured... even if you just smashed your borrowed Lamborghini into them with Gervonta "Tank" Davis!!

    Check us out, every Tuesday!

We will continue to bring you the biggest idiots in sports history!!

C'est politique : Show Me A Hero, Shin Godzilla, les Fatals Picards

C'est politique : Show Me A Hero, Shin Godzilla, les Fatals Picards

#197 - No Good Deed... in Golden Valley, Arizona

#197 - No Good Deed... in Golden Valley, Arizona

This week, in Golden Valley, Arizona, a very nice gesture leads to some not very nice murder. Actually, it's vicious, nasty murders that make very little sense, and that's only the start. We can't say "why??" quite enough during this episode, as the brutality is just so out of proportion. And can a 14 year old girl really be part of a couple of adult's murder plan? This one will keep you head shaking, for a while!

Along the way, we find out moonshine & chili are probably bad to eat & drink, with no bathrooms around, that you can absolutely be too nice, and that some people seem to have zero moral compass!!

#230 - It's EXACTLY Like The Wire! - The Omarness of Reggie Gross

#230 - It's EXACTLY Like The Wire! - The Omarness of Reggie Gross

This week, we find one of the craziest stories in criminal athlete history! He had a rough start, as his dad was stabbed to death when he was 3 days old. He had a decent boxing career, even fighting Mike Tyson, but he was also leading a double life, as an enforcer for a brutal drug gang in West Baltimore. The same gang that was portrayed as "The Barksdales" in The Wire. And you'll never believe who betrays him, and finally turns him in for his vicious string of murders! This one is something special!

Box your way off the street & into the ring with Mike Tyson, remain on the streets as a no nonsense hitman, taking out the drug competition, and be turned in by one of the most notorious criminals in street history with Reggie Gross!!

    Check us out, every Tuesday!

#153 - That Can't Be An Accident in Brookfield Township, Ohio

This week, in Brookfield Township, Ohio, a casual evening of drinking at a local small town bar turns into a search for a missing person. Family, friends, police... and even the murderer all hunt for a trace of the person, in hopes of finding them alive. Unfortunately, this search turns into the search for a body, then after some new information, turns into a hunt for body parts. Will the monster who was responsible be brought to justice? This one is wild!

Along the way, we find out Vikings aren't just in Minnesota, that you should try to take other people's point of view into account, and that you can't dismember someone by accident!!

Author Jonathan Abrams talks "The Wire," Cavaliers, more

Author Jonathan Abrams, who has written about the NBA for years, has a new book out, an oral history of the legendary HBO series "The Wire." Abrams joins Kurt Helin of NBC Sports to discuss how the book came about, what he learned about the show writing it, and the show's cultural impact now, many years after it shut down. The two also get into what is going on in Cleveland with LeBron James — Abrams previous book was about the "preps to pros" generation of the NBA — as well as whether the NBA should bring back high school players in the draft. There's even a little discussion of the tension between referees and players.
