M S Dhoni and how to select a process that works

M S Dhoni and how to select a process that works

Let's dive into what made M S Dhoni, a former India criket captain and a player par excellence.

We'll look at what made him fit in with a group of stalwarts. As a newcomer from a small town, he gelled excellently with India's greats.

In his rise, he saw a lot of leagues and different teams. How did he go about ensuring he belonged there? We'll discuss that too.

There's also how he dealt with failure. We can learn from his approach to derive a process that works for us. Selecting a process and a plan of action are serious business. We'll discuss how to choose one that makes us successful.

Ep 14- Sports and Leadership- MS Dhoni Special

Do you know that Cricket is the world’s second most popular sport and the most popular sport in the Indian subcontinent? Introduced by the British in India, the first ever game of Cricket was played in 1721 that is almost 299 years back My dad tells me that when they were kids, they used to sleep, breathe and play cricket, sometimes even in the dark when the power went off.

Many cricket lovers were sad this week because one of India’s most successful and most loved captains, Mr. Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement. Fondly called Captain Cool, Dhoni is regarded as one of the best sports leaders in the world. When I started reading the news articles about him, I realised what a great leader he was. This week, I will share some interesting lessons from his journey and a movie about the sport and magic of cricket.
